Exori San vs. Exori Con

When should I use one over the other. Seems for now that my Exori Con hits up to 100 damage and my Exori San hits around 40 damage. Exori Con is only 5 more mana. Is this just a low level thing and does San become more useful later on?

My Paladin is level 43.

Exori San avg dmg = (lvl*0.2)+(mlvl*2.395)+14.5

Exori Con avg dmg = (lvl*0.2)+2/3*(dist+25)

Exori San scales with your magic level while Exori Con scales with your distance skill. However, even at very high levels it's unlikely that Exori San ever will overtake Exori Con unless the target monster is weak to holy damage.

that explains why i hit harder with it, I have 105 distance and only 10 ML lol
