I am wondering what you guys think about these...
I mean selling scrolls has got very popular and since you can now buy other services like mounts, outfits, character name changes etc (not only premium time) I wonder if the prices will get much higher. For example let's do some math.

On my world a premmy scroll is 2.2~2.4kk = 30 days pacc = 250 tibia coins

That's something between 8.8 and 9.6 k for 1 tibia coin!
I think the market price for 1 tibia coin will be something around 12 up to 20 k on my server. Not sure about this cause I didn't study economics or we.

Also world Trade services will die now since you can just buy tibia coins and use them on another world!

Let me know woot you think about this guy's

I would assume the prices of Tibia Coins will nearly double with all the extra services you can buy with them.
I'm sure the high prices won't last forever, but only time will tell.

If Tibia Coins are account wide even after purchasing on the Market that will indeed be a hindrance to world trade services.
That also depends on the price of Tibia Coins from server to server, you could get more or less doing this.

you don't need to study economics to understand simple business models (although I'm actually in my second semester of econ)

lets put a standard (fix rate) of the value of these coins, which cipsoft in a way gave us.

1 prem scroll = 250 coins. Now, since the value of these prems, vary from server to server, lets put our standard at 2kk = 250 or 8k each coin. (global average price of scrolls across all servers)

Now, that being set, we as the consumer will determine the fluctuation and price of these coins, whether they're 5k due to the amount of coins in the market, or 20k due to the demand (and market manipulation) .

What i believe will happen, in the first couple of hours the value will be around 8-10k, then rocket up to about 15-18k maybe for a few days up to weeks, and then slowly settle into the 10-12k range average price. Of course depending on the server, we cant really count for those servers where people have so much money and can determine the base cost of the product becuase they control the stock.

Like everything, buy low (first couple of hours) sell high (weeks in) and make them profit gainz

considering that you will be able to use them for anything and not just premmy the demand will be higher than the demand for premium scrolls, demand = higher price.

I've always appreciated the idea. In fact, I've made something similar for my project. CipSoft should have done this long ago.

You don't need to be an expert to make an educated guess as to what may happen. We've seen this before. It's likely demand will be fairly high for a while, just as it was for Premium Scrolls when they first came out, but I assume at an even greater amount this time around. High demand and low supply usually means higher prices as suppliers have more control.

I have 68 scrolls on account from when they dipped to 1.4kk/ea in my server. I was going to unload them when it was back to 2-2.4kk but the tibia coins made me decide to keep em and see what happens. So by that logic:

68 scrolls = 17000 tibia coin.
68 scrolls paid = 95,200,000.
68 scrolls if sold(2.15kk we call) = 146,200,000.
17000 tibia coins(if 7-9k each) = 119,000,000 - 153,000,000.
17000 tibia coins(if 11-15k each) = 187,000,000 - 255,000,000.

Either way, profit is going to be made. My guessing is I will get about 9-11 for all of them. Not a bad 2 month investment :)

All of this market shenanigans is making me miss the days when I was offended that scrolls were close to 900k each. I JUST WANT TO BE A CHEAP ASS!

I bought like 40 scrolls when they were 700k each. I wish I still had them :D

those times are over I guess xD. 30 days of premmy will be somewhere around 2 and 3 kk (depending on the server economy) I guess

You guys are forgetting the fact that you won't be able to buy Tibia Coins with Debit/Credit Cards or Paypal for the first 6 months.

For some payment methods, though, it will take 6 months until your Tibia Coins become transferable. These payment methods will be marked with two asterisks in the Webshop. I think they made an exception with Brazil though.

Anyway, in the beginning there'll be a high supply (people already stocking scrolls) but as time goes there'll be less tibia coins to buy, hence price will go up. Until we reach the 6 month mark.

Edit: You can buy them, you can't just transfer them in game.

if there is some sort of artificial scarcity of the coins created by the system of buying you describe, then people will simply use another payment method to reap the profitable reward.

You can buy Tibia Coins with any Payment Method, you just can't transfer into the game straight away if you bought them with PayPal or Debit/Credit card. Only certain countries are allowed to do so. Apparently, Brazil is one of them.

u need to w8 until they are transferable. I think it is because people paying by PayPal or credit card got their money back after purchasing services. Because in Germany we can pay with Giro pay it will automatically be removed from your bank account and these coins you can transfer immediately after purchasing by griopay
