I've been converting all the balances off my non-active accounts and transferring the balances to my main. I've been on a few worlds, and the Tibia Coins are all around the same price for the most part.. (Buy offers in the low to mid 8,000/pc & sell offers in the mid to high 9000/pc)

Premium scrolls were converted into 250 coins.. Antica for instance is currently at 8,222/pc on the coins (top offer in market that people are buying them for). That would make the price of a scroll 2,055,500.

What is boggling my mind is whether or not to sell the coins now, or let the price inflate on the coins to see if they grow to 10k/pc in the next few months or so. Because as we continue to increase our wealth, we should be willing to pay a higher price. Similar to how premium scrolls continue to grow in price.

A lot of people who had scrolls had their coins put on 6 month hold prior to being able to sell them on the market. By the laws of supply and demand.. when this 6 month time limit runs out, there should be a noticeable decrease in the price of tibia coins on the market.. since supply will outweigh demand.

So here's the question.. is it best to sell Tibia Coins now?

I don't know what the likelihood is of the price decreasing after the 6 months, but from an economics stand point, it should. There are a lot of coins out there that are un-tradeable right now, and I bet those people will want to cash in at their first chance. But then reverting back to the top of this post... that will decrease the initial rate that the premium scrolls were selling for. If the price per coin drops to 7000/pc, the scroll decreased in cost by 305,500gp.. (this is just an example of what could possibly be an outcome for the sake of the argument).

What are everyone's thoughts?

You can still purchase through reseller to get the coins right now instead of 6 months. Even people with many scrolls on account (which I dont think are so many ppl that had that), price wouldn't be affected that much. It wouldnt be a enough sized batch to make the market go down/up. People who wants to "buy gps" can still do it via reseller.

With these coins you can buy all sorts of stuff, not just premium scrolls, as to why the price will go up slightly in my mind. People have just not gotten used to use these coins yet, so I'd say they will go up in price over the months.

However I would rather spend my kk on supplies for botting/hunting as you can double up that way easier and faster than on these coins ^^

Just my 2 cents, could be wrong as in every market speculation, just in this I dont have enough information in order to do a full analyze to be willing to risk my own money. To many insecure variables in play, for example how many will they delete? For every botter account they delete, some cash vanishes. How many rares will drop, how many players will be hunting, will there be a war on server. Everything like that affects how much moeny will be in place. It's too much of a risk for me at least since I can't possibly even make my mind around it, some may, I can't. :)
