Selling Characters/Accounts

It seems like I see more and more new threads in "Trading" about this then ever before and it made me curious; Do people buy accounts/chars. like they used to? I know there's a lot of variables: Vocation, Level, World, Skills, Vouchers, Premium Scrolls/Tibia coins, Quests, Outfits, Mounts, etc. Plus, most transactions occur in DM's, then branch off into different applications: Western Union, Skrill, PayPal, etc. Now having said that, what do you guys think? Do you think people buy more now than ever before or do you think this is a dying business?

I'm not an acc buyer/seller so I don't know if business overall is up or down (I'm guessing it just correlates with the games population, so it's probably in a slow steady decline), but I do know that acc buying/selling is super common on the team that I play with. I'd guess that most accounts aren't sold through the forums, but to friends in-game.
