Well I have lags(computer lags not connection fault) on my high level. When botting on low level everything is fine. I guess it depends on amount of scripts running when you play. As I have plent scripts with while loops or repetetive module scripts like huds etc. Try disabling huds, all level up screenshot scripts etc... Let me know if it help ;)

Does it lag when you play without any scripts? Like you go around dp, sell stuff or run (use haste, boh and everything you have) for a bit around city... then check if doing the same but having scripts activated
Also if you could tell which scripts you are using..

tbh, it's just old. It could be hardware failing or anything really.

When this happened to me back in the day, eventually my display driver would stop responding and my screen would go black.

You could go through the process of getting another display driver, maybe a new graphics card and some extra RAM but my guess is that this is probably a combination of several factors, including your available RAM, processing power/CPU (btw, how much CPU is your machine running at when you open a tibia client and connect? to check, press ctrl + shift + esc and go into performance) and several other things.

You mentioned you have a new router, like the dude said above, do a speedtest on Ookla (a few times to be sure). As tibia is server->client AND client->server, you'll need decent upload AND download speeds.

edit - just thinking of more stuff...
-Got enough space on your hard drive? If it's nearly full then the problem could be that your %appdata% folder is being cluttered as you uncover more map....

yeah its actually way worse on my windows 10 computer.. but im not using any leatrix latency fix or anything on it... maybe if i made adjustments it would lag like my desktop but my laptop is for tv show and movie and i just use my laptop to mana train..
