View Full Version : Make looting more human-like

I love the loot bodies last function but wouldn't it be better for some kind of loot checker to be implemented?
Ie. I have a loot list of Gold and Creature Product, but I kill a mob that drops say a spear. The looter shouldn't open that body and act like a human as it has enough information to know that this mob didn't drop anything interesting (loot server log message). Same goes with mobs that drop nothing.
Seems awkward that the bot is opening every single body, be it has what I want, empty, or has other rubbish items.
Wouldn't you have to label each dead mob with server log loot messages, which might seem complicated. But since I have 0 background information regarding these things, how difficult would it be?

I always open bodies even when it says nothing when I'm playing manual, I cannot trust the server log, who knows what errors can happen.

Yeah that function would be nice, only open body when listed itens are looted

If you kill many monster at once, you don't scroll the list, you open the bodies. So its more human-like than the other method.

I do the same thing xD

I also open empty bodies and then I drag the loot that could have been there, in case it's something invisible that might show up later. Gotta avoid those risks.

I do the same, but I check every slot in the body. Who knows o.O Gosh, the times when they dropped bags.. many slots to check ;S Glad that that time has past!

You guys serious? I don't do that for sure, LOL, drag through an empty slot. Haha.
Would be nice to have it as an option as to label each dead mob with the server log message, that way I don't get to loot mobs that drop nothing, nor do I loot mobs that drop nothing on my loot list as well.
A GP counter would be nice, since there is already a function that shows recent loot, perhaps this function could just add up the gps?
Player Safe mode would also be nice, ie. stop all activity when a player is on the screen.

Haha, I just do it because my brain's too slow to register that it said "nothing" before I open the corpse :<

Same.
I also use blessed steak on every single creature. Got me a demon armor from a rat once. Also, remember to machete every single dragon lord that dies facing north - it's easier to cut off their heads and obtain trophies when they are facing north.
DarkstaR, can you reply to my pm, please?

Suggestion for next update perhaps?
Would save us all a lot of time for sure.
