I noticed this when botting mintwallin. If I manual skin something in a situation like this:

it will say: first go upstairs. But somehow the bot is able to skin it from the exact same position.

There are some other minor problems with the skinner. If you stand on top of the to be skinned creature it will still try to skin it, and not do it via browse field. Same with when there's a creature on top of the to be skinned creature.


edit: the looter appears to do the same thing. it opens bodies in places which cannot be opened manually.

Xenobot totally ignores squares being blocked by upper floors in all situations. It's unclear to me whether CIP theoretically could detect this, but I would guess that they could. However, they don't and whether they'll implement such checks in the future or not is irrelevant as this is the last real Tibia patch that Xenobot will support.

That the skinner fails for all kinds of reasons has been known forever but Darkstar has chosen to not do anything about it. It will not be fixed and I'd recommend that you run a lua skinner that skins corpses around your character. The built-in skinner will reach the corpse and then the lua will ensure that it's actually skinned.

Yeah I kind of expected it not to be fixed due to tibia 11. Just something to consider if there will ever be a xenobot 2.0
