Suggestion on forum site

I was thinking of how it can be a pain to have to chat with someone on here back and forth using the msging having to constantly check inbox to see if you have a msg. I was thinking that maybe you could have a msg pop up or something simular happen whenever you recieve a msg. Or even a pm chat box with someone simular to facebook or such. Whats everyone think?

I use the blue default theme and it shows notifications in the top right hand side corner.
