**Wrong forum?**

Anyhow, was wondering if anybody has any experience with buying account(s) from Playerauctions.com?
I'm looking to buy an account and don't want to end up getting screwed.

Sorry if it's the wrong forum I posted in.
Thanks for any input!

its just like ebay for players, thats just middleman platform that connect buyers with sellers,
if someone want to scamm you, he can do it, simply as that, playersauction employers have no idea about trading in tibia (if you try to set sell offer they ask about some funny questions as orginal owner adress/phone number which is not possible to verify in tibia, thats for games like WoW, but they are not verify payment history-mean there might be active confiramtion keys used weeks later to hack account back and nobody is going to help you them,
easy to find opinions about them when sth goes wrong with account

but anyway, if seller is fine (with good feedback for trading in online games) it should be ok,
if trading with some unknown fresh seller, its same as buying on forums or any other platform, might be ok, might end up without cash and account

Thanks for your honest opinion.

How would you recommend going forward if I'm looking to buy and secure an account?
I've been told it takes 30 days to change address/e-mail.

Thanks once again.

-email change could be done instantly using recovery key,
-real data registration change takes 30days, and still its not a biggest problem,

biggest is payment history, confirmation keys are valid for 180days or until use (codes to set new recovery key),
and there might be few active on account, this mean if buying from unsafe person,
you can buy account>change registration>get new recovery key, and end up hacked up to few months later using that key,
former owner might set new recovery key even few months later and hack account

but this could be verified in accounts payment history, still probably nobody will show it to you on playersauction so thats this risk
