Tarantula(Hide) Bug

So apparently there is a bug which allows you to kill the Hide as many time as you want without having to kill 300 tarantulas every time.

I was wondering if Cipsoft fixed this during the patch? Or is it still available?

You'll ask for a tarantula task, (I guess you need to kill 300 first), then you firebomb the Hide, and it get's killed by fire and not by u as player, so u can keep going in and do it like that.

I don't know if this still works, but remember if you do this it might lead to a banishment or deletion!

It's worth to kill the hide often and make some kk's profit :D.

First off, this is'nt really a bug, it's more like a game weakness.

It works to do this on almost all of the boss monsters (not thoose who got self healing because they won't die)

It have'nt been fixed yet and it's still possible to use this. And the game weakness has been able to use since the lastest time they changed with the tasks and gave people another chance etc. So around a year maybe, but it's now people started to know this weakness and started to use it. If Cipsoft actually would delete someone for this, they should see this as a really serious weakness and fix it long time ago or even remove Grizzly Adam until they find away to fix it.
Sure, they can delete and ban someone, but I would be surprised.

I did it with Hide and Deathbine on Aurera and Rubera and total loot was 41 silks, 17 k-legs, 3 mandrakes, sweet smelly bait, bunch of carniphila seeds, bunch of seeds, 16 terra amulets, 7 terra boots, 25+ time rings, 5k+ plats, 50 small emeralds+ and I think a bunch of other stuff i forgot about, but it gets really boring and tiring :x, especially on a low level mage

the experience bug were the good times got my lvl 8 to level 30 and i didn't get deleted :D my brother got from 30-43 and same with him :D

Pretty sure it does. Lot's of people have been using it on the development servers. Also, works with noxious spawn btw.

Yep it works, although as mentioned before, I wouldn't suggest doing it.

It's not worth the possible deletion.

Although if your willing you could essentially create a new acc, pg a char up and do it lots, just for the sake of doing it to get the loot. Could come out with more cash than it took to create the acc. If your willing to that is.

I tried it yesterday on a noob acc. It is still working, but I had to share the hide with a other guy....
I think he was a no lifer.... He had 359 silks............. WTF !
I got boored after 6 Hides !!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............

So can someone tell me the exact method by which this is done?

Edit: I have tried this several times in all methods possible. I don't think the hide will pass over firefields anymore, unless you bomb it your self, which will cause you to get exp due to the first damage inflicted when using the rune against the hide, so you might get 10-20 exp, yes you won't get a loot message but if you go back to adams, he will claim that you have already killed the hide. Oh well, I guess this bug/game weakness is already fixed.

Have anyone else tried this today? I'll try if is someone tell me exactly how to do it.
Should I just use a firebomb and run with the hide over it or should I hit it until it has dark red/black hp and then firebomb him?
Should I go out or stay inside after doing the first part? etc etc

It still works, to kill, you use a fire bomb in Hide and you too, because if she is caught on fire and you do not, it leaves the field.

Example, X - fire field, O - you and Hide:

XXXXX or XXXXXX
XOXOX or XOXXOX
XXXXX or XXXXXX

Then you must wait for it to burn without attacking it or hit it more runes ... because after a while (I think 3 minutes) the fire field loses the bond with the char. To repeat countless times, just talk to the Grillz "boss" and he will give you endless second chance!

Would you mind explaining how you do it ? Do you just shoot a firefield on hide and let it stand on it untill it dies ?

I've never did it, i'm only saying that 20 mages are doing it, so they can't use a firebomb.

I did this twice, after the second time he said...
"00:02 Grizzly Adams: You've killed Hide! Let's continue with your normal tasks."
I did it the same way both times, but I guess I did something wrong O.o Does anyone know what it might be? I just used firebomb and made him run over it. Maybe they fixed it now?

Read my post mate, they already fixed it. They had to reset the servers and thats when it was fixed, as somebody here on the forums told me.

Now the hide won't pass into the fire. Hell I stried f bombing the whole room leaving one square for me and the hide. The mob still was basically stuck there not moving. Yes, I was attacking it from a distance using fist, still nothing. I was actually kicked out because I put hopes into the fact that this might take time (7 mins or so till the hide walks on fire).

So yeah, doesn't work anymore.

I tried this, I put a fire bomb under the hide and it still works.
It just takes a long time and I have seen people using this bug doing it quicker than me so there must be another way to do this :p

Yeah, someone explain the exact way to do it, cause I've tried it several times now and it's not working for me.. I used firebonbs on it, it died and I got like 50 exp and no loot msg, but Adams is still saying that I killed it -.-

I attack deadbine to under half hp, then firebomb him and wait for him to die, this has worked everytime for me.

I've killed Deathbine and The hide alot, it takes me 3 minutes to kill the deathbine (7 minutes left on the fire when I leave the portal) and about the same for the hide. You can hit them to red hp so you don't have to wait 10 minutes for fire fields to kill them all the way.

ok i've killed hide with f bombs like a screenshoot but grizzly say 02:05 Grizzly Adams: You've killed Hide! Let's continue with your normal tasks. i don't know maybe 2 persons need to use this bug ?tell me please ;)
