Druids are one of the hardest vocations to master. With the modern ways, cooldowns, stamina, and soul points, there is a definite limit to how long you can powergame a druid before you are forced to log out, and regain. It takes skill to calculate what's more worthwhile. If you really want to powergame, you'll want to play constantly until 14 hours. If you want to powergame, but want it to go quickly, you'll want to use your happy hours then you'll appreciate the requirement to wait.
So, you need to be quick with the hotkeys, and you could definately use a macro keyboard. You also need to be able to read 3 points of your screen at once... The game window, health and mana bars, and your cooldowns. If you can't do it, close this thread and find one of my others.
The guide
So, you get yourself through rookgaard as quickly as possible. If you put 100% in you'll have one happy hour left (of your two allocated). If you're free account, close the thread now since it's useless to you. Your first levels will be boring, get a plate set with your rook cash, and try get the basic cape if you can afford it. You should start off meleeing some swamp trolls. Do this until you can get ice wave. At this point you're ready to start your powergaming career. You'll need about 5k cash to start with, buy 100 manas, and go to dworcs. I know it sounds crazy, but it works. Frigo hur them, use your manas, and hit town. You'll profit a little, maybe a lot if you're lucky.
Now, do that until you're level 30 with about 20k cash in the bank. You'll get it in 2 days at the most, you should be able to do it in about 8 hours. At this point you need to get blessed, so spend all your money on it. Now go out and grind a little for another 5k. Time to move on, make yourself a shitload of avalanches, if you have access to softs use them, I'm sure you'll be able to afford refills.
2 days later, you'll have about magic level 30, level 30. Move on to Dwarf Guards. If you don't wanna go Kazordoon, go to Cormaya. Theres a good cave there. Lure 5-6 at a time and kill them with your avalanches. You should get level 50 in no time. Do the quests, BK, Deeper Fibula. Carry on until 60. Make avalanches when you need to. You should loot enough only in gold coins to cover your manas and blanks.
At level 60, do the banshee quest ASAP. It's a lot of money, and is very useful. Use the money to buy all your spells, then go to Wyrms, preferabley with a blocker, until 100 or so. Keep doing it, it may seem like a lot of grinding and hard work, but it's rewarding enough.
If you want tasks, swap levels 60-80 with water elementals. You'll do this easily in 2-3 days.
The whole guide should take under 2 months to complete. Remember to upgrade your eq when you get the odd bit of luck with your loot. It's hard to make money with a druid, but when you do it gets good.
