[LAPTOP] Cooling Fan?

so my laptop's fan gets very loud very easily. its doing a crazy loud humming even with just 2 tibia/xenobot clients running. adding chrome makes it go on overdrive! Apparently its a problem with hp laptops?
So iv read that a cooling fan that i can attach to the bottom of the laptop and connect through a usb port will help keep the laptop cooler and the fan quieter. Does anyone have any experience using/buying/seeinginRL one of these fans? Is it actually quieter or is the fan on the cooler just as loud?
And what brand is a good one thats not that expensive?

Get a window unit. Lay it on its ass, the output blower shit facing strait up. Use it as a table to play.

Or, get a Desktop. Laptops are for the simple.

I had an laptop 1 year ago and it kept getting to warm and shut down. so i bought a cooling fan and it worked after that.
i bought a cheap one from deltaco.

Royaliti so even the cheap ones work well? cuz i saw an apple one at the mizzou store for like 100$ but then im seeing belkins on google search for like 10$ :o

Well, I use one atm, and it does keep the tempeture down. The noise.. I don't know, the fan itself also creates noise, so I guess it's +/- 0. Though, the sound it produces isn't annoying to me, but I have a seperate room for gaming.

Im using a Targus AWE55EU (quick googling). Bought it cheap (around 25$ or 199kr).

I bought a cooling fan it's like the tables you put on your lap to have laptop on, but with a fan on it for around 10-$15... from target :D just go to walmart or something.. Apple will always be over priced name brand.

Used to bot like 5 mc chars with my laptop until it got very loud and eventually fan stopped working. Bought new laptop fan and additional cooling fan - works quite good now. It's just a cheap cooling fan that makes a little spinning sound but I can live with that.
