[Update] XenoBot v2.6.2 [Crash & Security Fixes]

This update fixes a small bug in the Scripter, re-implements self context menus and fixes the crash with the ID context menus. It also includes a very important security fix, disabling os.execute() which can, when used with malicious intent, can cause harm to your machine via Lua scripts.

Changelog:

v2.6.2
Fixed the Creature:Skull() Scripter function. It now returns the proper result.
Fixed the bug with Context Menus. XenoBot menus will now show on self once again and ID menus will no longer crash.
Removed os.execute() and os.exit() These are security fixes and downloading this update is highly recommended.

There was an issue before that right clicking an item, and clicking on the Item ID part would cause a debug. It's fixed in this update.

Hey btw is it possible for you to change Xenobot to only use diagonal walking when there really is hard to walk normal. Now it walks diagonal even when i got a bush infront of me.

I really don't know what you did when you changed the targeting in the previous update.. but now you simply cannot keep a nice distance with mage scripts in example tombs... IT get stuck walking <---> back and forth instead of south/north.....

Try checking if it's 3/4sqm line and if so, change it to 3/4sqm diag.

Yeah I did that, both got stuck in the 3sqm width "hallway" inside peninsula tomb -2.... It just went back and forth <---> with both settings... :S?

Edit: I stopped botting because the targeting was really making me freaked out.. lol.

From now on only knights untill I figure this out or someone else does.

I didn't change anything with the stances. Try remaking the targeting config. None of the logic changed.

About the stance, i just think that the bot always chooses diagonal walking around things rather than walking around them, both the stances does the same. Wouldn't it be a bit more proficient if it choosed to only walk diagonal when its really needed. It looks pretty weird going diagonal that much.

The Distance stance just sux now, i have to say that, if the bot is in small arena he just run like a retard 1000x the same sqms :/ i can't bot my rp now... hope you make something with that

This has been the same problem for awhile, bumping in to walls, diagonal walking when a object is in front of you(bush or tree) etc.
This is one of the most important aspects for me that needs to work good and the new 3/4sq line stance wasnt any better, it just focuses on going in line but has the same problems as 3/4sq diagonal.

There's a minipatch today, 2012-08-29. Is there a planned XenoBot patch coming with it? I don't know how you handle these minipatches as I haven't used XenoBot for more than a couple days but I assume injecting yesterdays version of XenoBot after the minipatch could be an "easy" way to get detected. How and when will you give us a heads up about the safety of the current version, or a new version to download?

tibia will be comming back ~6 hours after server save
xenobot will be back around ~8-15 (depending on DarkstaR being awake or asleep)

please do not make any post about the bot not working after tibia comes back online as the bot version will not work with a newer version of tibia

We are hopeful that it is only a server-sided patch and hopefully will not result in a client update. If the client updates then XenoBot will be updated also to the new client version. Just remember to login with XenoBot off incase it is a client patch.

How do I know if it's a server-sided or client patch? Will there be some form of install going on if it's client-sided? What does it look like? Thanks, haven't played Tibia for almost 12 years this is all very new to me.

it takes darkstar about like 3 hours to finish his shift at work than i think he comes home in his bday suit and sits on his comp and goes on twitch.tv and starts to update bot

that is so fucking right, i just started to hunt on my level 180 ED well, it works but if i want to avalanche creatures and heal at the same time it will turn in to a mess, you see i got 1 button on my mouse for avalanche i have never ever used the hotkey panel for healing spells xD and it is so enoying to move my hand from the mouse to press the heal button, and all needs to happen so deam fast.... does some one know a nice setup for manual hunting without bot? xD atleast its hard if you hunt with avas and dont want to use the hotkey panel :P

XenoBot started as a hotkey tool. LOL

The first features were insert -> page down mapping to fkeys. The feature I use most, besides that, is the mouse-button hotkey mapping. Exura and avalanches on mouse == profit.
