How true is it? (DELETIONS)

I have been told that old accounts will not get deleted on the first botting detection, automatic tool.. etc, how true is it? for example my account from 2000 has never been banned before, some1 told me that if i get caught right now i wont get instant delete.. how true is that?

It used to be true, but as far as I know, all accounts, no matter of its age get instant deletion.
