[Update] XenoBot v2.8.1 [9.70]

[DarkstaR]

This update adds protocol 9.70 compatibility and fixes some small issues with the bot. If you haven't used 2.8.0, the version with a new healer, please click here for information (http://forums.xenobot.net/showthread.php?7458).

Anyone who had problems with double drinking potions, go ahead an re-download/re-install. The issue is fixed now.

Added 9.70 compatibility.
Fixed the double drink problem with potion healing.
Fixed some issue with the Looter, causing it to block execution at times.
Modified the Healer UI, better outlining the priority system.

Try refresh your script, are you lagging at all? :|
Mines even better than pre-update, it feels a lot faster and the looter/walker issue is fixed too.

Right click your character see if you have the little box next to "mount" selected.

Please let me know if this is something you are planning to fix! I completely understand that it was not possible to do in the time frame and get out a new working version, I just want to make sure its on your radar (and that it is a priority).

still i got same problems with looting.
loot last works perfect but if you set loot first my char dont take most loot...

I tried with new char on 100%afk rook and this bot didnt take any meat out of monsters.
Maybe its because Script say him to use it and then to loot it, but he only use it and move away.

Could also be lag if you you follow a monster + walk to close to stairs sometimes it lags up it. (well in my case)

People could be roping you to disrupt your pattern. I've had the same problem and I know for a fact that the bot, atleast in my case, was not the cause.

You cannot have 2 options on one item ID, it will only obey the first. If you want to loot it, you loot it. Also, never set food to use, the bot will automatically eat any food you're not looting.

The use option is for things that will be used and immediately go away when used, always. If the item doesn't go away when used, the bot will hang up spamming use on it.

Edit: Since everyone is having problems with food I'd like to add that these creatures do not drop any food products at all.

Ok, I found the Use option now after adding the food to loot list, I don't even have the food on my lootlist, and still it tries to eat food first, then loot. Still the Same problem.

As I said on page 2, I did fix this issue. Make sure you clear your cache, re-download the installer, and re-install the bot.

I did have potions to begin my hunt, it was supposed to return to deposit with 10 left and it never ran out in the past; I understand the simple fix is to raise the minimum potion limit in my script and problem solved but this is still an issue. You can't have the healer check mana percent and if potions exist before executing? I find that hard to believe, I still had plenty of mana to survive the rest of the hunt before depositing but the fact that it was spamming potions had the bot at almost a stand still.

Take a pvp example (I know this is highly unrealistic), you are being killed and you have 200 gmp to heal with and you use all of them up but still have 1kish mana left, just enough to get to pz but your bot is spamming potions so you can't move or heal more than a few squares at a time so someone combos you and you die.

I'm a far lesser programmer than you are but in c++ that I'm familiar with it's as simple as throwing an exception to forgo using potions when the potion doesn't exist. You already have the potion id to use built into the healer so I don't see the problem.

Edit: I'm not 100% sure but I do believe my bot on the previous support system ran out on occasion or missed a refill and it didn't completely cause a stand still when it was out of potions. It may have been lag + the potion spamming in this case that caused me not to be able to do anything as it is on a preview-game world.

Edit2: I guess since potions are client side it would make since that you cannot reliably detect them without constantly updating the count. I was looking at it from a basic user input scenario which is what I'm used to programming in.
