View Full Version : Little things in Xenobot that annoy me

These are just little things that I get frustrated with while using Xenobot.


The option to "follow" monsters is Xenobot AI correct? This isnt always the best option. Why not have an option to use the regular follow for the client? When I am experiencing lag the bot often loses creatures like amazons that run.
The Walker GUI is bulky and hard to rearrange, the move up/move down button would be useful if there was a hotkey for it. I spent 5 minutes replacing a node with a stand today, or am I not doing it right?
It would be nice to have an option to change weapons for certain monsters such as when I am botting noob monsters to train my skills, I would like the option to change my knife to my real weapon for when attacking a strong monster.
Only looting monsters if they drop something on the loot list. This would speed up hunting immensely.
A ring/necklace changer would be a nice addition as well (like sword/axe ring)
SLIME TRAINING support. I've never been able to figure out how to do it, this would be a hugely positive change
I saw somewhere else someone suggested a stairhopping function for when being pked. I think that is feasible. Just have the walker target the nearest ropehole/stair/ladder and hop it until they are gone.
Maybe built in backpack resetting support? That would be nice.
A HUGE change would be a similar set up to ElfBot NG's icons. Where you can set certain scripts to run when you click on an icon, thus allowing you to change the bots behavior without resetting anything.
Possibly a push function for when someone is blocking your way.

Many of these things you request are possible already. THough agreed on one point such as screenshots, but that he already knows of I believe.

As mentioned above, many of the requested points of yours already exist via lua scripts. :)

Set targeting to do nothing and enable chase inside the client.

Open xbst in notepad and move it or change the waypoint tag from 1 to 0.

Lol, you could have spent less time searching for stuff on the forums about these issues rather than writing them all up.

Thank you infernal for the breakdown.

And Hendy, These were already issues in my mind, it would have taken longer than 2 minutes to search for them than to just type them up into one.


Edit: I realize that many of these things are possible with scripts. But couldnt they be implemented as part of the actual bot? Im not very good with lua. The most I can do with it is take pieces of other peoples scripts and frankenstien my own. (Which i have done with some of yours, Infernal Bolt :D

The chase option from the client its not good since it will not walk on fields.

The walker should be changed indeed! Move up and Down are not helpful and at all and editing using notepad is a better idea, but since we create the script from the game using the bot we should be able to fully edit it without using notepad, the great thing about Xeno is that it integrated with Tibia, to have to open an side program to operate it defeats it own purpose.

The looting suggestion is a must!

Great suggestions tho most of them are script material.. after all we cant have a bot with all these functions, it would only make the bot complicated and heavier for a few features that we just dont use eveyday.
