View Full Version : Should I get RAM or Graphics Card?

well,i have a slight problem with my pc & cs recently,if i play on graphics thats like more detailed and stuff [opengl] and someone lights a flashlight or theres too many dead bodies,my cs starts lagging insanely but i dont have tha on a worse graphic [software] and i was wondering,to fix it should i get more RAM [currently 2gb] or a better graphics card?

Would be cool if we knew what graphics card you had. 2gb of ram is sort of low, so more would be nice. Chances are you'd see more of a difference with a new graphics card though.

2GB of RAM for CS is fine though, it must be your graphics card, hope it's not integrated with your mobo.

He said that cpu is the most important then comes your gpu and then ram.
What cpu do you currently have?

He's got a built in gfx card, which is terrible when playing fps shooters.
I'd say buy a new card but nothing too extreme or it will just bottleneck on the other crap you have in your computer and you will still not get 100% out of it.

My suggestion is to scrap the entire machine and start looking up into computer parts in order to make your own machine.
