Hello guys, im just wondering what would be the best cheap setup you could make for bot some 10-15 clients without problems, but only for botting.

I've been thinking about something, and i couldn't answer it yet: Is it a video card required? or with onboard cards is enough for bot that many clients?

My bot pc has now a phenom II x2 555 (i can unlock it to x4 but my cpu temperature goes up to 80º :/) 2gb ram, mobo Asrock N68-S3 UCC.

What would be the best and cheapest you could make for botting? is there anything cheaper and better than this JUST FOR BOTTING?

thanks!

I used to bot 8 clients (24/7) + skype + play dota2

I currently run on http://valid.canardpc.com/2599447
This is my current setup.
I am able to bot up to 15 clients + skype + dota 2

But to answer your question, Yes a GPU is required.

Just drop your bot clients to 30 fps, and you'll be good.

CPU + GPU go hand in hand when it comes to games.

i see, i just got all of my clients in 10 fps. my cpu uses like 40% when i've 5 tibias opened. i think i'll unlock the phenom II x2 to phenom II x4 later, but now i don't really need it.

mmmhm, Don't use what you don't need.

Also, when botting long hours, restart your clients every 12 hours.

If you're looking for cheap & powerful consider the AMD Bulldozer. It's a failed AMD experiment, it was designed to be one of the most powerful quad core processors, but shortly after it had been designed the technology became outdated.

Generally speaking you can pick up an AMD Bulldozer quad core processors, 3.6Ghz with 8Gb DDR3 RAM and a tasty motherboard for around 200 euros.

Here's an example setup:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bulldozer-FX-4100-Quad-Core-3-6GHz/dp/B0064ZSRVO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354383810&sr=8-1

Add that to a graphics card of your choice (I prefer sticking with Radeon HD series, currently I use Radeon HD6450 with 2Gb DDR3 RAM and a 1.3Ghz clock speed. It's not amazing but it does the trick, I can run about 40 clients at 10FPS without too much lag... If only my internet could too...)

You need to come up with a better lie cuz if you ever launched 20 clients (logged in), on the 21st client, you would have memory leakage.

I don't think you quite understand the concept of a memory leak, so I'll explain it for you.

A memory leak is caused by a program using system memory, then not releasing it. If a single instance of the Tibia client were to leak memory, they all would. They do not communicate with each other, only with the servers.

Yes, that is true.

And tibia uses system memory.

If you tried running a client for 12 hours, you would know it will leak memory.

Yes, that is true.

If you tried running a client for 12 hours, you would know it will leak memory.

It won't leak memory, the memory usage will increase. There's a difference. A memory leak is an unknown excessive use of systems resources, what Tibia does is uses the available memory to store information which it will use.

Yes but the PC I linked is the bare minimum if you want to be able to bot efficiently. If you buy anything worse, you won't even be able to run Runescape or Internet Explorer without lag.
