When I play tibia it goes from green lag to red and back to green all the time. My internet is fine, ive done a speed test and get about 10 mbps download speed. I've done a ping test for my server, Astera and it the results ranges from 200ms+ to 100+ms. I'm in the US. so i'm not playing a server from another country. I was wondering if there is anything I could do to make the ping steady and low without having to download a program u have to pay for.
Thanks,
Ben

Nope. Tibia sucks.

You could try Leatrix fix, might reduce some. If you're really worried about performance try running a proxy on your main client.

Leatrix made a nice change for me, it didn't really reduce my latency though.

What Leatrix does is allows individual packets to be sent. Windows by default sends packets in groups of 32, or 64, depending on your systems architecture and the expected architecture of the server. The result of this is that packets are bundled together. As the client sends a packet it can be sent immediately with Leatrix installed, as opposed to having to wait for a second and maybe third packet to be ready.

The result is pretty much like changing your FPS in Tibia. Instead of having 10FPS, you have 20 or 30 FPS, the difference is immense. This is what leatrix does to your networking.
