This update fixes some issues with the pathfinder (notably, the fighting with itself) and prepares for the upcoming Tibia update,
Changelog:
v2.8.9
Prepared some internals for the upcoming update.
Improved the pathfinding heuristic. The pathfinder should no longer fight with itself over which path to take, and it should walk much smoother.

I guess preparing for the update means he's been on the test client and grabbed memory addresses, already implemented them. Problem is (in my experience) test server often has different addresses than the official release, turns into a royal pain in the dick.

Often times when updates come I'm in the middle of adding new features or tweaking existing ones. Then, when the update comes, I'm stuck with half-features, tweaked features, or new features, all of which pose a problem. Half features need to be removed until they are finished and new/tweaked features need to be finalized and tested (hence this last minute release). When I wait until Tibia updates to do this (which usually comes when I'm off-guard), it's hard to track bugs because I would not know if they are from the update or from something new I added.

Just curious, is there any estimation as to when special areas might be fixed? Also, will you be updating Xenobot while on LiveStream like last time?

before update my targeting couldn't be disabled, now i can't enable targeting. It just enables for 1 second, then auto disables itself. ;(

There is nothing in the bot that disables targeting in any automated form. Are you sure you don't have a script that is doing this?
