Multiple Hotkeys vista & xp

If you have more than 1 character which you play actively and they both are different vocations I’m sure you know the problem of having to switch your hotkeys every time you relog to your alternative character, however, there is a way to bypass this!
The first step you must do is to go to your desktop and rightclick on the tibia client you have on your desktop.

Copy it and then paste it on your desktop. You got 2 icons now, I will name them to vocations for now.

Now you must actually make the 2 different hotkey sets, because if you change hotkeys on 1 client they will also change at the other client.

First step is to go to Your Computer and to the following files.

NOTE: if you can’t see the AppData/Application Data map, don’t panic, it simply means you haven’t got the option “show hidden maps” turned on. If that’s the case do the following.

Open any map and click on Tools and then Folder Options, if you’re on Vista you need to click Alt first to make the toolbar appear.

Then open the View tab, scroll down till you find the Hidden files and folders and then select Show hidden files and folders, hit Apply and then you should see the AppData/Application Data map!

Now that you have found the tibia map in the hidden map, let me explain a little bit about this. This map holds all personal information connected to your client, the tibia client is automatically taking the information from this map and saves your hotkeys and maps here, but also saved chatlogs can be found here. The Automap folder holds all your mapfiles, these create the minimap in the top right corner of your client, the Tibia.cfg is the config file that holds your hotkeys, graphical configurations and even the size you last opened your tibia client with.

You got 2 tibia clients on your desktop now, so you’ll also need 2 of these maps, so like with the tibia client, copy & paste it, and im going to name them the same as my clients on the desktop.

Ill start with making the paladin client connect with the paladin map. To do this open the Tibia Paladin map.

http://media.tibiavenezuela.com/guias/perfectclientsetup/7.jpg

Now, copy the location of the folder.

Go to your desktop and rightclick on your Tibia Paladin client and hit Properties.

Now this is in the Target field:
"C:\Program Files\Tibia\Tibia.exe"

Make a space behind the last “ and then type Path” then copy your location of the Paladin folder and then end with a “. If correct you should have something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Tibia\Tibia.exe" path"C:\Users\Bart\AppData\Roaming\Tibia"

Now do the same with the sorcerer folder & client.

What you have done now is change the location where the tibia client on your desktop takes his information from, now he won’t use the same information as the sorcerer client so you can use different hotkey sets on each client.
