Cold sorc orb + blizz was awesome.

Frozen orb was great for ball runs but couldn't solo hell baal or chaos efficiently because of all the cold munes, and blizz worked great for andy and meph but the same poor results on baal and diablo. Light sorc was just fucking great everywhere, especially if near full dmg procced. like 50k. plus pvp was retarded. click and win. especially if your merc had a near p infinity. and since tele is lightning it got a shitload of skill levels from ormus, occy, etc.

Runewords were a feature added to Diablo II in the expansion pack, which used a combination of runes in socketed items to "craft" a completely new set of stats for it. This feature will not return in Diablo III, though there will be many other types of item crafting and creation.

Runewords are a way in Diablo II to use a combination of runes in an item to give it exceptional attributes, beyond what the runes themselves accomplish.
