Remote Desktop program for Ubuntu and Mac?

I was wondering since I leave my house at 08:00 in the mornings on week days and if I start before I leave my chars get kicked an hour and a half later.

So I was wondering if anyone knew of a program like teamviewer that worked on mac and ubuntu?

All I did was google "remote desktop mac ubuntu", but this seemed to have positive reviews.
