What are your thoughts about ASUS? Idk if I need an upgrade or not that much.
This is what I'm using atm, enough for CS:GO and Arma 3 with nice FPS?

With that budget, I'd recommend building a desktop. You'll get almost twice the performance from a desktop than any laptop can offer.
But, if you must have a laptop, this is a 15" beast: http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8651-...se-p-7690.html
- 15.6" FHD Matte (1080p)
- NVIDIA® GTX 970M [3GB]
- Intel® i7-4710HQ
- Up to 32GB RAM
- 1TB 7200RPM Hard Drive (Upgradeable)
- 2-3 Hours / 6.83 lbs
Notes: This laptop will last you a long time. You'll be able to max out every game, too. The 970M performs better than a desktop GTX 680.
You can go with an AMD CPU and a different motherboard. That should cut costs by about $200. You may also want to check out the i5-4690k.
You'll have to mess around with the specs until it meets your budget. Too bad you're not in the States, that would be a sweet build.
Found this for 13 337 SEK. Cheaper than what I found when reworking what you told me to buy. I have no idea how it can be cheaper when a lot of the parts are better? XD
1 stk Fractal Design Define R5 Black Pearl
1 stk Cooler Master G750M, 80plus Bronze, 750W Modular PSU
1 stk Intel® LGA1150 Core i7-4790K
1 stk ASUS LGA1150 Z97-AR
1 stk HyperX Fury DDR3 1866MHz 16GB KIT Black
1 stk Gainward GeForce GTX980 4GB GDDR5 PCI-E
1 stk Crucial MX100 SSD 256GB 2,5" 7mm
1 stk ASUS DVD-Writer DRW-24F1ST/BLK/G/AS, SATA
The only thing that's better is the GPU. The brands I chose have a great reputation. Crucial SSD's vs Samsung SSD's, for example, are hugely different in speed and reliability.
The PSU you chose is only Bronze certified in efficiency vs. the Gold certification of the other. And so on... The components you chose are cheaper in both price and quality.
Hey j.dre ive been looking up computers on cyberpowerpc.com and they pre build the computers. I dont know how to put one together myself so its kind of pricey
Im looking to spend around 1500 usd. Or be able to run 20 to 30 clients and still play music and do whatever else. Ive looked at intel i5 and different things. But what are the main things i want. Ram, cpu, graphics and such.
this is the load ive put together on the site

@nichjeremy,
You have to remember that CyberPowerPC is charging you for labor (and slight profit on components). You will be able to have a much better desktop if you were to build one yourself. The main post of this thread has videos which are very detailed and gives even the biggest newbies the ability to build their own desktop computer. It's really much easier than it sounds.
That configuration is trash. Don't buy it. I'll make one for you. :)

Notes: This build is LEAPS better than the one you provided. I would recommend you start with these specifications and go from there. You will need to purchase a water cooler for the CPU (for optimal performance). Everything else should be fine. Please watch the video on the main page! The GTX 970 is approximately 53% faster than the 750Ti you wanted!*
*The GTX 750Ti averages about 50 FPS on Battlefield 4 with maximum settings. The GTX 970 averages about 75 FPS on Battlefield 4 with maximum settings.
well im happy i know you then. i thought that was a hook up too lol.
even if i have trouble putting it together i know theirs a shop over here that can do it for cheap if i cant figure out a part.

this build is similar for 1543 USD.
im worried i will honestly mess up the build if i do it myself.
is this more similar to what u recommended < if im wrong i will plead no more and order those amazon parts tomorrow
Why would you pay more for worse components? Purchase the components in my list above and you'll be happy.
The video in the main post is literally a step-by-step guide.
Great build @J.Dre wouldn't change anything expect if i find something similar in sale. @nichjeremy have you ever played with legos? building a pc is same thing
im sure i could do it. im only trying to run 20 clients max so honestly am i over doing it in my build?
I recommend you watch the video at least two times to make sure you understand everything. If you're still uncomfortable with it, then I suppose buying from CyberPowerPC is the next best thing. I don't mind helping you pick one out on CyberPowerPC.com, but it will be a bit worse than your own build.
Hey @J.Dre
I have my laptop and for some reason it gets over heated quite easily when I run 10 clients~
Any advice on what I can change to improve it a little so it doesn't heat up so quick?
Depends on the laptop you have. What type/brand is it?
It likely just needs to be cleaned and re-pasted. I recommend IC Diamond Thermal Compound. It's the most reliable I've used.
I guess for a laptop its decent but I have no clue about pcs lool
http://i.imgur.com/pWgDEEC.png
Looks like you have a decent CPU. It should definitely be able to handle Tibia clients, at least 20.
Install this monitoring software and tell me what your CPU temperature is. I'm fairly certain it just needs some new thermal paste.
http://i.imgur.com/jAnDLib.png
here you go bro :)
There might be something wrong with the fan etc as when I run like 15 tibia clients the laptop gets extremely hot and also I have this under it I thought it might help and it did a little but not totaly
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Trust-Laptop.../dp/B0037RIDYS
Yeah, that looks like it is getting warm. You need some new thermal compound.
What is the laptop you bought? The laptop name.
@Rydan,
I'd recommend something very similar to this post.
Additional notes: A full-tower case allows for better cooling. The 750D is a great case. If you want to, I'd recommend upgrading to a GTX 980 graphics card. Or if you want to go SLI, dual GTX 970's would be a great combination. Keep in mind: The 5820k is limited to dual (2x) PCIE support. The 5930k & 5960x will support up to four graphics cards. The Samsung 850 EVO is new. It is based on the latest 3D-VNAND technology. It comes with a 5 Year/150TBW warranty. I'd recommend grabbing one of these. If you want a more "durable" or "sustainable" solution, I'd recommend the Samsung 850 PRO.
@J.Dre If u bored and likes to build computers, See what u can turn 2521,02(USD) into :)

@nichjeremy,
What are those for? You decided to get those, or you want my feedback on those?
Looking to be able to run about 50 or so tibia clients my budget is possible with that i want 300 dollars the lesser the better cause im not really looking for gaming im looking to maximizes the amount of tibia clients i can run. And i want it to be silent cause it will be in my room :p. If my request is not possible then super sad face :(
The cheapest processor that may run that many clients is approximately $100 (AMD FX-6300). You will not be able to build a PC for less than $300 to run that many clients. You can build a PC for around $350-$400 that will run about half that many clients with windAddons (MAYBE). The PC you want will cost at least $500, excluding the OS cost. ;)
Yeah I have a basic pc, completely stock and can run about 50 clients
Windmods with the framerate set to .1 unfocused lowers all clients down to 1%, but that's just me ^^ my pc stock, brand new doesn't cost more then 200 for suree
I'll post it later for yah
