I lost my old account data, so I had to make new account. I was using Xenobot right after Neobot was dead. After few months i moved to Ibot because many known scripters and old moderators of Neobot was working on Ibot. imo many users did the same as me. When they started using Windbot, i started using it too. If there's someone, who can handle new client, and beat Windbot, it's you and your team Darkstar. Wish u best luck no matter what happens.
I hope you get around to continuing producing bot for Tibia! XenoBot has been more trusted and safer than any other bot on the market in terms of deletion risks and failsafes I've experienced through my years using this bot.
I've been trying out other bots and been close to changing, but always kept coming back to the conclusion that XenoBot is the most reliable bot on the market currently. I know there are certain things you wish to perfect with it, and this is the chance to do so! I know XenoBot had a huge disadvantage in the time after the fall of NeoBot due to NeoBot's spread propaganda of the injections. After shown time and time again that we can rely on your product I do believe you could get a much bigger market share after the 11.0 patch if you were to continue developing Tibia bots. Your knowledge and skills are simply in a different league compared to the other bot-creators.
It has been a true pleasure being apart of this community throughout the years and I do hope the show goes on after the patch. In either way, sincere thank you and good luck in the future.

Sure, some players will continue, some players will start over. But Tibia is since long a broken game and 90% of their income today is from the botters, so I sure as hell hope that they think before doing something like killing the current client for the new one.

They just ban people with enough player reports or stupid, obvious botting. We pay premium time, we transfer characters, we contribute with shitloads of money which CIP simply cannot ignore.

Yes and no. First off, you need to know what something is. If it's an integer or whatever, you're good, if not, you have to reverse engineer the structure, or at least it's size, in order to mimic it. Second, you need to make sure you're not only using the same compiler, but the same revision of the standard library, and the same compiler options. Is iterator debugging turned off at compile-time for the client? Then it probably must be at compile-time for your bot.Quote:

Running Tibiacast for the last 7 years has been fun, educational and at times stressful. However, in the recent years our lives have changed. Both of us now have other full time jobs and our interest for Tibia itself has waned.
Due to the nature of our service we have been playing a constant game of catch up with CipSoft. Whenever they have made changes to Tibia, we've had to match them in Tibiacast. It's always been a precarious situation, and we've often worried that we'd be faced with an update that would be too difficult to support, and it seems that has now happened.
Tibia 11 brings some major changes and we've concluded that we'll not be able to support them. We simply don't have enough time right now in our lives to make it happen.
We have decided to close Tibiacast on June 30th, or when Tibia 11 replaces the old client, whichever comes first. The website will remain online to host the recordings for another 2 months to allow everyone to download and convert their old recordings.
We will continue to sell 1 month premium subscriptions via PayPal until June 1.
Those with premium time remaining when Tibiacast closes will be refunded.
No doubt there will be many questions. We'll try to answer them as best we can.

Whoever succeed on building the FIRST bot (not simpler ones like heal only) after the Tibia 11 is released will gain the whole bot market, im sure of that.

To be honest, I'm quite happy about this new client. Because the main reason for me and many close friends of mine stop playing RL and tibia in general is because of bots. I've always hated botting in RL.
Now before you guys come and complain that what I am doing on this forum and so on, is that I bot - yes. But on OT, I would never bot on RL since that honestly destroys the purpose of the game. I see OT as another way of playing tibia, I play on hexera which I mostly cares about PKing for which I use bot to get to a reasonable level; also gather rares...
If I'd were to play on RL, it would be a complete different story as I would with my friends quest, hunt, pk, wars and so on. Which if bots get involved with that it completely ruins the fun for me and everyone else. It's a unfair advantage. I don't blame you all for botting.
We were always a big group of players playing the game going on a fun adventure togheter. Sadly since almost everyone quit now only one friend of mine still plays the game with me.
I've also never used bot in a pk fight as I hate it myself when people use it so I ain't going to bother sinking down to their level.
Though I've always been fascinated within the world of bots. It's so impressive to see how a simple (not simple) program can basically make the character do what you're basically doing.
There's also one other major reason I'm happy that this new client is coming and the doom of the bots, which is steam - yes steam. Steam have always had a very strict policy agains't cheats, and they were well aware of tibia and it's problems with bots which basically is cheating. Therefor they will not allow tibia within the steam store. So steam told them that they need to get rid of the big problem they have if they wanted to be published in steam. Tibia knows though that Steam is probably the only hope it has right now of getting back a strong and big playerbase since they're slowly dying from lack of players, also a big reason since they're dying out is because of the botters aka cheaters. It is how it is, sadly.

Well you may be right, but now most of players are botters, as we keep this game alive. If botters quit I don't think that for every bot pacc account they will get pacc players.
I think client v11 will both get rid of botters and get some players back, but not sufficient

If there is something that I can promise you, that is that tibia will NOT die after they get rid of all the botters, I'm quite sure that the player count will rise like a rocket; due to the fact that tibia will be released onto steam as soon as they get rid of all the botters. Tibia is currently on greenlight and has been awhile, the reason why it hasn't come out to the store yet is because of the botters, which is also looked at as CHEAT - which steam has a STRICT policy agaisn't. And the fact that tibia hasn't really done any major changes to their part of dooming the botters will not change steams view of it. And as soon as tibia gets out on steam it will get great marketing and ALOT of new and old players will return as many also quit due to the fact that people bot.Quote:

Yep its hypocritical but I agree with Zezztah. Have you ever tried to chase someone with Magebot? Bots took the fun out of the game. One person in a leading guild botting 5 good spawns 24/7. Level 500's that can't heal manually? It's a joke. Full Bot guilds like Elenco Fabuluso that bot the characters high then power abuse the manual players. It will be a fun few weeks for everyone who can play without Bots and hell for the people that can't. I'd prefer the game without bots but if you can't beat 'em join them.

Well, if Cipsoft decides to disable the current classic client then it will be very interesting how several servers/leading guilds want to hold their powers. There's alot of people who don't even login once the bot doesn't work e.g. because of Updates. It would be funny to invade and takeover some of those servers :p

I'm very happy of current situation,
I used to play Tibia between 2005 and 2010, then I had a 5 years break and played " Retro-PVP " which was far far far away from that what I was expecting... Due "unlimited" cash it was not possible to hunt anyone in the end, even with huge team due lack of frags ( all of Red Skulls were skull bashed straight away ).
After a year of non-botted Tibia, we will get back to good old days = wars without war modes, lack of money, people who "deserved" to be high level will be in the top..
Im planning to get back to play together with 30 other friends, and to be fair with you all this is only one ulimate solution to keep this game alive - get rid of ALL SOPHISTICATED botters..
By the time you could have been botting shitty places such as Apes, Chakoyes, Rotworms etc etc for money was kinda fair - those days, that cash makers were making enough money for war purposes.. in current day when I see 300 level paladins making 100k/cash per hour profit is quite sick, destroying deeply this game...
Would be the best for tibia to become free of Botters but i think this will not happen als Long als CIP doesn't take it REALLY serious. They can get ride of it easy of they want to.. I Hope for 11.0 but I don't believe there will change anything
