doing those little things will make the pictures look alot better.
This is actually not a bad idea, but to be completely honest, you shouldn't be charging anyone in the first place. Use this as a way to practice, follow tutorials, create a deviantart, download resources (make sure not to rip pls) and talk to people who have experience in designing (deviantart has tons, and you can find some design forums too).
