What about Yalahar Mutated Humans? That's probably the best exp for you. Check also Tyrsung Frost Giants, Port Hope Tarantulas, and POH Cyclopes.

XP/MM: A mix? Profit is what I'm after but if it's smarter to gain some lvls first, then so be it.

Put the level 50 in either coryms or undeads in thais. The level 23 I would put in thais orcs / salamanders.

Check the price of Nose Rings on your server. If its 200k+ your lvl 23 can get 10k+/h doing the minotaur task in Kaz. And you can keep hunting the tower until lvl 50.
