How to not waste botting a mage?

At levels 30-50~ do you guys bot mages with wands/rods+spells or weapons + spells?
For example botting terramites or in tombs. Is it better to use weapon + exori flam or hailstorm rod + exori flam?
It's like rod+spell for exp and weapon+spell for profit or no use of rods/wands in these lvls?

in tombs i personally like using wand/rod + spells and a shield on full defense. just makes sense to me that way.

What about botting ancient scarabs? Is it worth buying terra hood, mantle and legs or they don't hit that much from poison so one or two terra items will be enough? @Nakuu

Depends what level you are. I usually wear terra mantle/hood/legs at 75 level though. Also using energy ring module just in case :P
