Knightmares most recent? interview.
http://www.tibialibrary.org/en/artic...-by-knightmare
Not really an interview, it was just the npc introduced with 15th anniversary.
http://tibia.wikia.com/wiki/Knightmare_(NPC)
damn, i would really like to know how we could decipher Knightmares numbers.. I just read this in an interview with him.
Gorak: There are still many mysteries that people wonder about, for example excalibug.
Knightmare: I'd tell you if you'd ask me in be ... uhm bonelord language.
Gorak: Sorry, I am still learning it perhaps I will try again later...
Knightmare: 3478 67 90871 97664 3466 0 345!
http://www.tibialibrary.org/images/b...r_language.png
I find it very hard to belive that he has invented this language himself.. If he has, hes a really smart fellow. If not, what could it be ? some kinda letter-for-words technique, or morsecode?.. ive tried them all by now. all i get is nothing.
Yeah, that "interview" wasnt fit for the ends of this topic and well, 469 is hardly a language, is more like a numeric mess in need of a cipher, without it it'll be impossible to get it that's why he's so sure of himself when he talks about it.
The only ocasions in which mathemagics are mentioned are in Paradox quest; in which you get an achievement of "Mathemagician" and Blinky (Hellgate's librarian), and ofc the only prisoner in mintwall (which idk why, I think is Daraman himself, even tho~ I think he's the Mad Mage, but that's just me) which is the one that gives you the Riddler's answer in the first place. (If you dont know wtf I'm talking about check it out here.
Although mathemagic doesnt play any main rol in tibia, the lone cases it is mentioned dont have the sightlest link to each other, although I dont blame it, after all Blinky says you need to be an EXPERT in mathemagics and in the Paradox Quest, lets face it, we cheat and get the answer from someone else lol.
I think that if this Bonelord BS is solvable at all is through ingame shit rather than tryin' to crack Knightmare's code which is simply impossible. < And with this I mean that if there is in fact a Cipher; it's ingame.
Quest log entry:
Char 1: You learnt Mathemagics. Everything is based on the simple fact that 1+1=94
Char 2: You learnt Mathemagics. Everything is based on the simple fact that 1+1=13
Char 3: You learnt Mathemagics. Everything is based on the simple fact that 1+1=49
Quest log on a couple of chars after finishing Paradox Quest, apparently you can get any number from 1 to 99, maybe that's part of the mystery.
Also, it is said that you can actually save a trip to hellgate if you say the right number without asking the prisoner? (1 in 99 chance) Maybe that gives you a different achievement? Like Master Mathemagician? lol Anyone here know someone who was this lucky?
EDIT:
Topic=9, "yes", Amount=1 -> "So know that everthing is based on the simple fact that 1 + 1 = 49!", SetQuestValue(1,1)
Topic=9, "yes", Amount=2 -> "So know that everthing is based on the simple fact that 1 + 1 = 94!", SetQuestValue(1,2)
Topic=9, "yes", Amount=3 -> "So know that everthing is based on the simple fact that 1 + 1 = 13!", SetQuestValue(1,3)
Topic=9, "yes", Amount=4 -> "So know that everthing is based on the simple fact that 1 + 1 = 1!", SetQuestValue(1,4)
Apparently in the NPC's entries this are the only possibilities, maybe it isnt 1/99 after all, again, is this a clue or just random BS?
Atheist.
Bump!
To start off, this is one of the most interesting threads I've read in quite some time. I'd love to help, but to be completely honest, I don't have the time or the interest in Tibia anymore to do so.
I'd like to remind you not to forget about the books in the library in Rook, but those are probably just about stuff in rook. However, like you said, you never know ;)
Kudos to you for finding out as much as you have so far. It's probably more than most Tibians ever have/will.
Their name was changed because the name "Beholder" was owned by a different company (I think).
@Luls Without a doubt the most interesting read I've had on the forums. It makes you want to start questing and reading books etc eh? Pity for me i'm in the same boat as you when it comes to time.
Whether or not I can be part of this, I will most definitely be following this thread :)
Good luck to you all :)
@Athiest, to help with the keywords script, it's quite simple.
lua code:
local keywords = {'word1','word2','word3','etc'}
print('Starting keyword spam.')
Self.SayToNpc(keyWords, 65)
print('Keyword spam complete.')
If characters stand on each of the two tiles in the library under the desert :P
Also i think this is an amazing thread!
I love the idea, i used to have a designated noob char when i first started. I used to go exploring, which normally resulted in death.
I used to know the free account world like the back of my hand as i was facc for so many years.
I still know it well, but not as well as i did!
Keep up the cool thread, i hope you uncover a secret for all your hard work!
Keep it up! makes me wanna go and search for some clues to.
Man I read ur introduction with 110% enthusiasm, fucking hell brought back memories from when i was like 10 years old. All those rumros that existed back then, before wiki (or atleast I didnt know about it), ppl actually told eachother where to hunt, got stuck in quests, (not to mention manual UH (no hotkeys), lvl 19 SD makers, UH makers, no Auction House, great pvp system, List goes ON AND ON), now ppl just check upp Wiki for _EVERYTHING_. Which sucks really.
I will keep looking into this thread!!!
So true. Fucking hell, I will NEVER forget when I made some friends ingame, we started a guild and they showed me Amacamp. That was fucking awesome.
And, not to forget, all the deaths at GS bridge. HAHA, was fucking horrible, died so much, but the most thing I remember is when I looted a warrior helmet ofa dead body there and got to DP with it :D Man I was happy!!!
Interesting read, though most of it is a summary of old pictures and articles on TibiaWiki and TibiaNews.
Being the devil's advocate here, I'd like to point out that despite a relatively large amount of people having access to 7.7 version Tibia files as a result of the hack, Remere and Dennis being the most (in)famous ones for creating ClassicTibia and RealOTS, no mysteries, as far as we know, were ever solved through investigating those files.
This suggests that none of those with access to the files were able to find any information to help them obtain some rare treasure, or they did not look hard enough(doubtful), or they found something but have been able to keep it a secret year after year. If they did find something, I'd suspect no unique items were involved, as that would have been hard to keep as a secret from co-conspirators, friends and the general public, in part because it would be invaluable and in part because the finder(s) would desire recognition, either through showing off in depot or house decoration, or through some interview.
In other words, either CipSoft has covered up their tracks so well that not even people with access to their files were able to discern any information, or the finders were too incompetent to find anything, or no solvable mysteries exist, unless CipSoft implemented new clues to the puzzles in the versions thereafter.
I'm not saying there are no mysteries left, I'm simply stating that since no mystery has yet to be solved during these years, despite the immense amount of time and effort by players and hackers to discern any information regarding the whereabouts of items such as the Helmet of the Stars, one can assume that official help would be required from the Staff, which won't happen in the foreseeable future, or that the rare items seen today are nothing more than one-shot opportunities, long since seized by other players, e.g the Grey Tome in Mintwallin, the Demon Legs in DHQ and the Horned Helmet in the Bright Sword Quest.
"name" -> "People call me Xed, but my full name is Xedem."
"Abran","Ironeye" -> "He is the owner of this market, although - just between you and me - I'm not so sure he's honest."
"honest" -> "Well, I overheard the boss discussing some shady deals with a man in a black cloak."
"shady","deals" -> "Something about a sword only great warlords can use and a rare distance fighting item."
"rare","distance" -> "Yes, but I believe this is nothing but lies seeing that there are only a few distance fighting weapons."
"ferumbras" -> "I heard rumours somewhere that his father was called Hugo."
"excalibug" -> "I think that was the sword they were talking about. Said something about a man in Edron that could get it for him."
"news" -> "Some people say Ferumbras isn't really dead. Crazy kids!"
"monster" -> "Yeah, these awful beasts. They live in the swamps near the city and in dark dungeons."
"dungeon" -> "Oh, they are all over. You never see more of them than in Kaz, though."
"Kaz" -> "Oh, that's short for Kazordoon."
Just looking through the npc files seeing if I find anything interesting ;) this thread is awesome bro I remember all of these myths and legends that no one could ever solve and eventually were forgotten, it really gets me wondering hearing it from CIP that there is many unsolved quests where to start I am sure there has to be something in all these NPC files that can lead us in the right direction im gonna keep looking

I know someone who claims that getting into the desert island is possible. Has anyone hear something like this before?
(The island with a dead body and a palm tree)
I have heard of it.
Just check this link, it does not have pictures, but still give alot informations (:
http://www.tibiacity.org/forum/showt...-Secrets-Guide
What about the Tomes? I think they have something to do with some secret.
When you look at the 4 times they say this :
07:47 You see a green tome.
It weighs 19.00 oz.
It is a volume of The Mystic Secrets of Tibia.
07:47 You see a grey tome.
It weighs 19.00 oz.
It is a volume of The Mystic Secrets of Tibia.
07:47 You see a blue tome.
It weighs 19.00 oz.
It is a volume of The Mystic Secrets of Tibia.
07:48 You see a red tome.
It weighs 19.00 oz.
It is a volume of The Mystic Secrets of Tibia.
Now you know they are all empty & you cannot write in them.
They say "It is a volume of The Mystic Secrets of Tibia".
I think you may need an NPC to read them too you, or learn some kind of magic so you can make the texts appear, than it will give some kind of hint towards some secrets.
Super!
More like you need to talk to NPC, because I really doubt that a text would appear. I heard that there is a bunch of books that if you'll joint them all there is a quest solution <--isle of kings, has any1 else heard of it? :D But poeple know how to open bridge and remove gate, the problem is how to remove magic walls. Some people tried it and it didn't work. I've got 90+pally on secura, so might try RPing there ; d Also, there is alot of people who might volounteer I guess - world/english chat is very active. @Atheist, could you PM me with this ts3 server? @Beo, ur nick on Secura? :D It's introduction to potions like 'potion of regained vision' which can be used with one of jakundaf's NPC I guess. @Infernal Bolt, could you joint my posts, please? (:
that's what you meant?
Yeah, thanks dude <3 (no homo)
Im gonna go do some research on the lake since i believe its possible to get there. I know the guy who claims getting there from an external forum, ill pm him for hints..
pm me for my name @Bushu
Bumps
I really need to get involved with this. Has a team been made? if so where?
What happened to this thread? I just found it, this should be a top-of-the-page-thread.
Anyway, to give you guys my two cent on the way to solving a few of theese quest:
People over at Dennis server, tibianic/realots (dont mean to advertise), have come a loong way on many things, including the beho.. bonelord language. And as it's an original tibian server I don't hesitate to not trust them. Many players are still active in both real tibia and "real" tibia. Pay them a visit for knowledge. I know they helped me alot on 1-2 unknown quests, good luck with your questing.
Wow, why I didnt see this thread before?
So nice stuff man, keep it coming, so interesting!
This was such a good thread why did it die ;(
agreed, I usually just skim threads and don't read it all ,but I did this in tibia the first time I payed also, I was so amused trying to find things out and such. This thread is def a good read but I think for the most part unless CIP releases info no one will find out most of the hidden things in the game, just not really worth it tbh as they usually make really rare things in quests public after they are found. I remember one time black shields were rare, some other things also, but I can't remember them off the top of my head. :P
What happened to this thread? What a great read. Brings back memories and makes me want to RPG.
If Tibianic/Realots have an exact copy of the original Tibia files, what happens if they teleport to a treasure room and look into the chests? I don't know why this shouldn't possible
