Ya, still worked. Full brass set with steel shield and jagged sword on my rooker. =)

Pretty sure it's fixed, but essentially you could throw your backpack through the top door of the boat onto the northern part of the island and have a level 1 pick it up. I still have my set so I guess they did not reset rook while doing it.
