@Nostrax, as long as the depot backpacks are in the first two slots of the depot and are setup gold backpacks that shouldn't happen. o.o Tell me if it happens again and if possible see if it's trying to do anything else at the same time.
Also make sure you have enough backpacks inside each other, think that it might cause it?

My guess has always been that when many backpacks are filled, it sometimes struggles with opening enough backpacks to reach an empty one to deposit into.
