PKing

It's not my favorite thing to do, since the servers I play are majorly populated by either friends or very powerful enemies. This is a short guide as to how you should go about pking, if you choose to.

Consider this
You're a solo pker, or part of a team, and you know of a potential target, in Kazordoon Dwarves. Let's say you're level 45, and the target is level 60. Your cash is restricted, you've got 8 SD shots left.

Escape Routes
Think about where he could run. Consider Femur Hills, Kazordoon City, Ab'dendriel. They are the nearest cities. Think about how you plan to trap him. You need to organise yourself, make sure you've got mwalls, think about strategies, if you know he's headed for femur, put some mwalls by the stairs and if you think it's kazz, head off with strong haste ahead of him. Normally if they can't see you they'll continue towards the city anyway, so your best bet is to try beat him there without him seeing you pass.

Tactics
Sometimes all you have is the element of surprise, however saying "boo" to your target, doesn't make him die. You need to organise your team, or your combos. Think about cooldown groups. If you have an ultimate vis spell, and the strong flam spell, you have a 2 second cooldown between the 2. Use the flam, if he heals use the vis, then drop an SD. This will combo around 450hp on a level 45. That's enough to drop a level 60 ED. If you don't have these spells hit him a bit, see how he heals, and just before you think he'll heal drop an SD. You might get lucky.

Timing
You should always use voice comms. They are the best way forward, since the syncing is much better and easier to understand than text. It takes much less time to hear the word "now" than to read it.

Trapping
I'm not talking about cornering, I'm talking about trapping. Let's say you've got 20 people, all ready to get some pking in before work. Get the highest level to take white skull on someone who is protected, lure the person to 2 sets of stairs, get 10 noob characters (level 8 is best, with weakest defence) to stairhop in the SAME OUTFIT as yourself. That way, any idiots who come by and decide to try SD you as you stairhop, will hit the noobs and they will die. If the noobs are already on low health it helps. This is called the Red Skull Stair Trap. Works a treat. Other traps are things such as the entry no exit red skull trap. This is where you lure someone into a space where there is no option but to kill their way out. This works best in Port Hope. If you can, get 4-5 noob characters to trap someone down a single isle path. Get the target in the middle of your trap, and make it look like he has to kill his way out. When he begins to, you can start the trap. He'll kill 2 people, then stop if he has any brains. At this point he'll probably be low on supplies, so start throwing potions and runes underneath him. Throw manas first, so he can use them, if a friend of his is on screen, he will assume it's them, trying to help him. He won't pick the manas up since its easiest and quickest to leave them there. Get another noob, on low health, within shooting distance, and drop an avalanch or gfb rune under him. Boom, your target is now red skulled and prime for death. Keep launching noob characters to get him trapped, and eventually you've got a frag and some nice loot.

Use your imagination, and use your brain. Issue some common sense before trying to pk.

and remember if you're mage always take energy ring with you and when you see 2 mages 55+lvl near you equip it asap. they will think you don't have manashield and hit you with combo ue, otherwise if you write "utamo vita" they will spam you with sds, and you die. after combo you can wear it off to save time of ring because they won't have enough mana to combo again, that the time you run away.
