New Registration System

Lualand's registration has been modified. Now instead of creating a new account you simply have to link your existing account here to Lualand.

• Step 1: Go to http://www.lualand.net/register
• Step 2: Copy the verification key to the corresponding profile field here http://forums.xenobot.net/profile.php?do=editprofile
• Step 3: Save your profile with the updated info
• Step 4: Back on the Lualand page enter in the password you wish to use for Lualand
• Step 5: Submit register form and you should be able to login.

If you have any issues please report them in the feedback section.

I don't have that sort of access. Besides if someone hacks my database (even though the passwords are sha256 encrypted) they won't have your credentials

Can there be a help section for Lua? I am stuck on my FIRST EVERY attempt at programming in Lua..
I am using SciTe to write my code and I tested out something with print("xxx") but I can't find how to run the code.. Would love to be able to ask things like this somewhere.
Edit: I found out the solution already, but still would be great to get a help section for learning and understanding Lua, not just for making scripts in Lua.

Just a Q, why did you make it needed to register? I just can't see the point with it, aswell as the "premium". If we can only rely on the lualand which you are making really good by now, I suggest make Darkstar or combined with the XenoBot crew make em pay for your outlayes which you're obviously trying to gain via the premium in Lualand. If you get my point of view, since Lualand is really needed for XenoBot and most of us can't make it without it, I suggest XenoBot should somehow sponsor you instead of only the chosens will be able to buy the "premium" with its benefits.

No offense to you and keep it going Lualand is really appriciated, just a little political view of mine ^,^

i dont get whats all about, theres no scripts, nothing that says whats premium or whats going to be there, theres basicly just the map, wich i think you can make waypoints there, so adding a website to add webpoints, instead of including a map to the bot, i waste more brandwith, making waypoints there and botting, than actually doing mc, whats the porpuse of lualand again ?

This website is under construction I think.. and that's why it's not done yet. But I'd also like to know what the main point now is of Lualand. I couldn't read it anywhere on this forum.. so maybe you can explain that to me Syntax?

If you used it when it was active you would know it allows creation of .xbst files alot easier than the current interface while allowing you to visualize the path. I do not develop XenoBot other than the library so it's up to DarkstaR to add a map to the bot, that feature has nothing to do with me. Files made by users will appear in the script list.

It allows setting files to be made using google maps and will support actions such as deposit etc without any scripting knowledge whatsoever.


In the end Lualand is a 3rd party service to make XenoBot more user friendly. It has nothing to do with XenoBot's development and is solely developed by me.

No offence, i belive your doing kind of a good job here, besides banning on rants, but i think its just to much for you, it is a cool idea, but dosnt make it more user friendly if its not 100% working, and sadly it isnt, then you also update libraries and some actions or the opposite thing, so i advice you to just work in 1 thing and close the other, because this right now its getting nowhere

btw i tested it, it works but again its not complete, i belive its just to much work for 1 person

Wesker, it was working 100% before for everyone, it's currently disabled due to actions/user system implementation. It will be enabled for use in the very near future. I don't know why you keep trying to test it after I say it's disabled. Why don't you just try to save a map. You will figure it out.

I can work on all the projects I want. It doesn't take much to develop a library. I work on multiple projects so I don't get bored of just one (I think this is fairly common among developers). The main reason that delays production is my real life job. I don't prefer it but it keeps a steady income. Anyways it boils down to its disabled just wait.

This is honestly the greatest piece of technology to go along with Xenobot, once people start using it, basic depot scripts and talk actions are added for everyone to understand this community will be huge! You really need to allow people to start testing scripts, etc.. I want to get on my waypoint grind! I mean I can do it ingame, but this.. this just look fricken baws!

all accounts were deleted just verify yours.

It isn't working for me, it's just saying "We could not verify the xenobot forum profile"

Apparently lualand was communicating too much with xenobot, the host blocked lualand's ip.
I'll may be moving the site to a new host soon anyways.
@DarkstaR, maybe you can unblock it.

It's running until my payment for the current host ends, which is in less than a month. Been waiting on that. Site is still fully functional for old users.
