Somebody here already tried Windbot? Never heard about it before but a lot of people seem to use it now, I've heard on ventrilo.

Getting deleted was most likely random, even after 1 day of botting no way it was the bots fault. Getting hacked was prob your own fault for downloading something else, the bot download itself isn't a hack. I've tried it and it is pretty good, less cpu usage I really like cuz that = less lag = more exp/profit and can mc more clients. But I think the less cpu usage will be in xeno soon as well. Yes only downfall is simulation, but you can pause bot whenever as well. I just prefer xeno cuz i can load and go lol
mouse keyboard simulation is a feature that is of zero interest to me and definitely considered a shortfall
How is it with MCs? Can you only bot 1 character?

It is a quite good bot, at least when looking on features for cavebotting that I've wished existing on Xenobot for a long time. Main reason Xeno is better imo is DarkstaR showing knowledge and responsibility better than any other creator. Also can't deny I don't trust Lucas, for reasons i wont discuss here :)
Ive been using a mix of both recently. I find that for my higher levels its alot better but setting hotkeys fucking sucks. The only real reason i use it for my HL's is the fact that the movement whist tyring to hunt brims is 3x better than xenos (and when trying to hunt against 3 other botters in keeper brims, it makes a huge difference). But for me whilst I run 30+ Clients at a time i still mainly use xeno. If i was using botting on a smaller scale and had less CPU capacity then I do atm then Ide use wind but overall for what xeno brings to me every day. Xeno is still fuckign grand!

xenobot is definetely not noob-friendly, for me that was never a problem as i like learning, but for a business it definetely is a problem.

If you wanna run up to a npc and and do whatever in a shorter time, just use a higher wpm.
Why don't we all just wait and see what @DarkstaR is going to produce with this new Apophis client he is creating.
Don't forget Dark is very reserved and rarely releases what he is actually doing, but if you manage to catch anything you'll see he puts alot of work into this.
For example, for the Apophis he went through alot to get a "Verified" publisher status (can't remember the exact name).
I think Apophis is sort of Dark's response to WindBot so lets just wait and SEE!!!!
Yeah when windbot just got released I tried it and I falled in love with the bot, but I still love XenoBot with the inject function instead of the mouse shit windbot have.
But windbot have better options in cavebotting etc and targetting its easy to learn which Xeno isn't.

To all the people ranting on about how Xeno isn't "noob friendly": if you don't have the intelligence to figure something (in reality, something VERY simple) out, then you shouldn't be using a computer... I do agree that there needs to be a very straightforward tutorial on how to correctly make the bot work, where all the requirements are listed (tibia map needed, inject, load script, etc.) but there are a few out on the forum that I've seen before, it's all a matter of searching really. :p
TL;DR - If you don't have the patience to invest a few hours time in learning/searching for something that will basically save you EONS of time in the long run, then you shouldn't be botting...
ALSO. DarkstaR is a very friendly and supportive dude. I seriously haven't seen anyone respond to updates and errors as quick as he does (NG and ELFbot support was shit basically, Neobot's was also top notch, though not as good as Xeno's IMO). I will stick to Xeno because I know for a fact it has more potential to grow and be better compared to the other bots, that and I don't wanna lose a pair of Soft Boots while I'm working on MS word using Windbot :rolleyes:
Is it also not possible to type while Windbot is casting spells (by typing) ? Killed some guy today because he couldn't talk to NPC at Yalahar's gate because bot was spamming heals, lol. Really good bot but maybe for Non-PvP worlds :)
I'll say one thing on high level mages I preferred windbot seemed to run a lot smoother and would get more exp per hour. Though on eks xeno is still my fave. Also not being able to talk while I hunt was kinda annoying but I was afk most of the time anyways lol
