Did I find CIP's new detection method?

Okay, ofcourse this is just a theory, but (in my opinion), it's a damn good one.
So about 90% of my accounts got deleted in the past 2-3 weeks (starting at double exp week, april 3rd). Since than ALOT of people got ALOT of deletions. I mainly play on Morta and there are lots of 220+ getting deleted there as well, latest being the highest EK "Azehx" (level 300). So after getting deleted I created 2 new free accounts, skilling them the first night using auto mana training, healing and eating. I wait 2 days and don't get deleted. I put one of them at thais rotworms for the first time, and yeah.. 24 after ss it got deleted. So when I wanted to try out if premium mattered, I used a prem account on the same spot, thais rotworms. However, about 15min after I started and watched my screen for the first time something stood out to me: about 70~ % of the rotworms were red hp.
What happened was, the bot started to kill the ones with the least hp first, ALWAYS! Even if it was 1hp difference in between the rotworms (which you cant see with the naked eye lol), it would walk 20sqm to the rotworm with the least hp. You can try and claim someone was bored and put all the rotworms in the cave on red hp, but I won't believe that. I actually think this is a good option of being one of the new methods of CIP, could be at least :p

Sadly, before I paused my bot most of the rots were killed by me already - but I'll try to get a tibiacast recording if it happens again. Here's a screen of at least 2:

Its just the settings your using, you don't have to attack the monster with lowest hp first, I haven't botted in a while but im sure you can configure it for proximity, etc. So if cips new detection is placing red hp monsters in spawns because bots attack lowest hp monster first this is a very sad detection tool. Kudos to you anyways for trying to contribute and help!

I've not been using bot since about two years now but I noticed what you experienced in this rotworm cave many times and been wondering why there is creatures with not full health randomly all over the world.

I have a hard time to believe that there is players that goes around and brings creatures down to random health all over the world. I did not give it much thought but I thought it was weird that I find this so often now and never in the past. Now I see you writing about this and I start think it actually could be something cip does.

Wouldnt it be more human-like to actually kill the lowhp monsters first, just like the bot does in this case?

It is. However, running past half a cave for a rotworm with 1 hp difference that you can barely see without a microscope is not. And doing this without a single "mistake" is also not very human-like ;p

I'm saying it's one of the method's CIP is using at the moment, not that it's the only one. CIP is known for waiting with the deletion for a bit while they already detected you. It's not like if you see yourself getting deleted that it was because of the action that was happening right at that moment.

Nah I mean I wasn't afk botting at all, never seen anything like this and I usually don't afk bot. Sure this could be something or it might just be someone who left rotworms there, you never know.

I have seen the same thing happen in hidden lizards only a few lizards on the second floor were with deep red hp like 3 or 4 of them I kind of found it odd to the rest were full green

Ah, I understand. Well, let's find out if it's a coincidence (people leaving them at those hp %s) or an anti-bot measure than!

My opinion on the matter is that they are combining a few different things to catch people. My assumption based on how I botted a rp from 0 to 150 was that they look at your online time and your hunting activity and chat logs. Most people don't log onto tibia for 9 hours, go to crystal spiders and use 3-5 spells and never say anything or enter private chats etc. I could be VERY wrong on this but it's just what I am thinking. Like online times, if you bot during a Monday for 8-12 hours, that would raise a huge flag to me because either a, your suppose to be in school or b, working (most people today, not saying people don't stay home). So regular above normal times spent online during the week are something I'd assume they'd be checking. All while I botted I would enter world chats, private, etc if I wasn't afk (which I didn't do often). Only reason I got banned was a paid script from nakuu had one of those Swiss Army knife tool things instead of a rope and I couldn't figure it out, so my character tried to use something it didn't have for an hour with me noticing.

i've noticed this when i was botting, but then i realised that my bot was killing a monster, a stronger monster came into my screen and then it went and killed/chased that monster, then resumed forgetting about the first monster at end of cave with whatever health i hit it too. although im not sure this would be the case for a knight hunting rotworms.

one thing i do want to say, is some of the scripts i have paid for are kinda sloppy, one example being a drop vial script that didnt check your cap, or to see if your targeting or even if you have any empty pots or are in protection zone, it just throws that item id under you, always, and sleeps for a random period, so the result is a huge vial trail to and from your same dp locker to your cave, and probably thrown during the most 'intense' combat periods.

now i never used this script for long, scripts i have botted with most of the time are not as sloppy as this, also i dont like full afk botting, so whenever my character walks back into the dp and stands on exactly the same spot to begin searching for dp, i will quickly walk off that spot and to whatever dp i choose (usualy most private, like normal right?) then the bot just carries on from there depositing items. not to imply i never have full afk botted, as i've been pked while full afk botting. also, when my character walks into some caves, there are large stairways with 3 tiles, i always try to walk into a different one as the bot will walk the same one always when afk. ive even noticed on one ocasion the bot go out if its way, sidestepping monsters and walking round to enter the same tile from the north, which i try to avoid. maybe this is PART of the reason i havent been banned YET (-.-). like most i dont believe it's down to just one factor, but who knows? only time will hopefully tell

sounds like a crappy vial dropper, what u want is when cap <100 or what ever too drop the emptys

Experienced the exact same thing this evening at glooth bandits! There was nobody in spawn, no blood as well, and there were like 4-5~ glooth bandits at (almost) the exact same red hp %.


Edit: 2 more rustheap golems just now. Spawn is EMPTY, I swear. No blood on the ground or anything..

strange, is that the first time today you entered the cave? or were they on red after hunting there for a while? sounds like it could be PART of their new detection system as quite a few people have noticed this. im going to run around most spawns on my main shortly see if i can notice this phenomenon anywhere in my world

They were red after hunting there for a while. Post your results here if you did check :)

I don't bot since a long time ago but I still hang around this forum for trades etc.

I noticed many times creatures with not max health at random places and sometimes in places I hunt suddenly there is a creature with not max health and it is only me being there.

So this could be something cip does and more and more people are experiencing this

I've too noticed the exact same thing. Was doing ava's in tomb and when I was in the deepest part of the tomb 4 vamps with red health appeared. My first thought was that somebody must have died here while I was refilling, but nah, didn't see anyone in that tomb for hours. So it may be true.

i think there is a valid explanation for this inside the tomb, basically the bot will avalanche necros/vamps to red health, then you will end up chasing away a banshee, after the banshee is dead the bot will just continue where it left off, thinking the room with low hp vamps are dead, and moving on to the next room.

but as far as im aware, this CANNOT be the same for a knight hunting carrion/rots on FOLLOW attack, because the character wont be running from any monsters, therefore it will just kill all monsters in screen (which dont run) and carry on, so in THEORY there could be some sort of bot test event that can occur, and after running around some spawns on my server, everything seemed fine, so im now thinking that you will need to hunt there for a set period of time, or the event could occur after a X amount of bot reports or if CIP have you under there monitor process.

ofc marshal..but in this case I was manually exping in the tomb, so I killed every single vamp / necro. If I had been botting it would be another story :)

aaahh scary, im actually starting to believe this might be plausible. i have a low level knight i been offline training, gonna go manual exp in a short while try to notice this myself

Another weird thing I've noticed weird lately I've been botting hidden lizards and sometimes there will be loot on the ground one day was a few ripe rice on the ground the next night there was a few lizard scales on the ground that it was weird cause I loot all those items so I manually picked them up but the weirdest thing last night there was a drakinita on the ground found it odd cause it is a 10k item maybe all just coincide of players tossing some items out but possibly a bot detection to see if u will pick the items up anyone else ever seen anything like this. And I've also seen deep red lizards on the second floor twice but first floor everything had full hp

Could be your bot dropping vials too fast, try add 2000 wait time and see if it still behaves like this

Any half-decent script will have the vials in a separate backpack.

Seems like it's better now. Haven't seen any of the red hp things anymore either. Lot's of people on Morta got undelete as well.

I'm thinking of starting a new character on tibia with a different account, does anybody have any good worlds to start on?

My laptop probably wouldn't handle 10 gold making chars, I've also never made any money making chars before and wouldn't know where to start lmao. did you mean put premium on the gold making chars too or leave them at FACC?

always free acc lol :p well, if you are able to run 3-4 clients and let them run like 6 hours a day you could make up to 100k in 2 days, if you are lucky you could even get it in one day. I would suggest to run rots and trolls until they reach about 30, then put one on south thais for bear paws and honeycombs and the other 2-3 just rotworms or trolls, as long as they wipe them out quick and loot all the gold (thais north rotworms, carlin rotworms, south-east thais rotworms):p

And once they hit over 50 you could start and run the corym areas, but the chance of ban is way higher

its human to hit some monsters in some circumstances so that way they run away so you can focus on a task, for instance. I'd like to see red hp monsters strategically placed right after ss, because that would be something i would think of that would be strange to see, or that monster that has a space before the monster name or a ? or something that would stand out as a bot detecting/killing monster.

random loots on ground, that vial dropper might possibly be the culprit or someone ran out of cap and left it there, i have my looter set to toss everything on the ground and have a script that works faster than the looter and modified it to pick up ground loot if there is cap for it. again, the human thing to do would be to throw your vials in the same areas if you are planning on lootbagging everything...... my opinion once again...

trying to use items you do not have from a script would most definitely be a problem...

these areas for free accounts are so commonly botted, and theres always people trying to go there, that there is a good possibility of being ratted out as opposed to detected...

i've never botted in an area where there is high traffic with a afk free account character.... i always use premium accounts in uncommon areas... how many people use a script for darashia dragons/dls? and how many people get reported for botting there? i cannot say for sure but i won't even hunt there because of the traffic, and the loot isn't as good as the exp.... or the hassle and aggrivation of getting hunted for disturbing someone's bot either.....

leaving a trail of vials to and from your depot and such would be a red flag for players... i haven't seen a marked GM in a VERY long time but i would not be suprised if they do come on to check things in addition to the haters who love to report anyone.

I have been reported for hunting a lot, but i am never afk and always report the person back for something, this tells cip that you are playing the game and mad that people don't think so and if they don't have any other proof than that might be one reason i haven't had any further troubles, and actually took the time to make friends with most of the angry haters in the first place..... you can hate the player, but don't hate the game, and don't be ignorant or pretend to be either... that always helps as well... your friends will never report you enough to get you deleted....

and since they implemented the equip item feature into the hotkeys, it makes it much easier to auto equip with no worries....

auto sio i frown upon healing someone at the same hp always instantly..... red flag in my opinion
does anyone think it might be something else besides this that gets a lot of people banned?

The above was one of the free accounts I was botting, I got it to level 30 before they banned it just didnt have time to transfer the gps lmao. (free account)
The funny thing is though my main who was also botting at the same time wasn't banned (Premium Account) - Account over 10 years old.

I wonder why they wouldn't have banned them both seeing as they were both logged on at that time.

Cip can see the website you came from and flag your ip as suspicious
