[Update] XenoBot v2.8.7

This update reverts the changes to follow made in the last update, adds a few more new Scripter functions, and fixes some small issues.

v2.8.7
Modified Scripters event system, hoping to fix some weird bugs people were experiencing.
Modified Container:Minimize(), Client.HideEquipment(), and Client.ShowEquipment(). They will now fail if context menus are open.
Modified the "Follow" Targeting stance to work like before, since the new version was accidentally going down holes and up stairs.
Added Self.StopAttack() and Self.StopFollow() to the Scripter.

i hope something will be done with diagonal stance, so it doesnt move around so much when monster runs away

If let's say the monster runs away below 20% HP do it like this:

21 - 100 : 4SQM Diagonal
0 - 20 : Diagonal

This will fix your problem :)

im a knight:)

problem is diagonal spam movement from left to right when running drags.

if the mon runs at 20% set it like this

21 - 100 : Diagonal
0 - 20 : Follow

yes you might get beamed a little but it works much better and you end up kill the monster faster most of the time. When you have diagonal and it runs away the bot struggles.

There are certain functions which do not work with dialogs open. These are documented and are not considered to be bugs.

I'm pretty sure @PunktG2pc means that people manage to make that happen, probably by some weird timing throwing it onto a body and the bot clicks it which will open the dialog and then when that happens it bugs some of the lua.

yes this is mine problem
when i got open this window bot dont buy mp , and ignore many lua

I'll check it out. May just add a Client.CloseDialog() function that you can use.

well, the version 2.8.5 work better than the new one.
cuz the lua bug so much than the old version mentioned.

i will give a an example:
if i use a script that destroy forniture (for avoid the trap) and if im going to refill, at the momment that i arrive to the dp mine client stop working (the .lua stop working)

I'm still falling down holes sometimes. Always when i'm attacking something. I tried re-installing it twice. Hope we get a new version soon.

Try using "TIMER_TICK" event instead "while" loop. You can find example in v2.5.1 thread.

how does the minimizing backpack and equipment work?

yup, still falling down/going up at ramps... Not as much as before this update, but it's still a lot and really annoying since I can't bot at nights cause of it

The code is EXACTLY how it was before the problem occurred. You're either not installing the newer version (try clearing your cache) or something else is happening. But the code is EXACTLY how it was before, so there's no reason it's acting different.

The thing is that it's always been doing it, more or less. Atleast since I started using the bot (7-8(?) months ago)
Maybe it's cause of lagg or something else, but it still does it.

For me it happends when the bot is targetting a monster and then walks into stairs sometimes for some odd reason, and sometimes it dosent.

I couldn't bot this night because of this problem. I didn't change anything in the script that i'm using and i tried to re-install it twice. Anyway when i arrive home today i'm going to uninstall it, clean cache, download and install it again. I'll post feedback here later.

I cleared cache, installed again and its still falling to holes. Maybe u was tired and u forgot to change it and upload again version with not changed code :DDDDDD

Same here, goin up stairs, falling down holes on 3 different accs 3 different scripts.
Did a clean install in a new map nothing changed.

Did you guys have this problem before as well? I mean, I've had it for months. I don't know if it's cause of lags or something like that

So I just did a hash compare and it turns out that, for some reason, the automatic deployment system failed to rebuild the MSI installer database using the new executables and used the old ones from version 2.8.6. My bad, guys. I will release the right patch for this as soon as I'm home.
