    The End ofTibia ?

    Guys,

For the last two weeks I'e been looking around and the tibia in general is suffering to much for these kicks.

The forums are with much lower movements, less players are logging ( when the servers are online). Looks like people are giving up.

Since DDoS attacks cannot be prevented at all, I don't think its going to stop too soon. What about you ? What's your impressions about those lasts tense tibian's days ?

I gotta agree that Cipsoft might be able to stop or at least reduce the lags to a point of where Tibia is more enjoyable to play but I don't think they will ever stop the D'dos attacks. There's always gonna be some douche that figure out a way to ruin Tibia for us fans.

Yeea same here nothing who is doing it but a lot of what Cip is currently doing and trying to do to prevent the ddos. All though there a lot of rumors that the people behind the Ddos attacks are guilds mad about some childish things.

It is nearly impossible to stop DDoS attacks. The guy behind it is a sad BR that lost all of his money in the last ban wave.

He has SO much money in real life that DDoS attacks are probably going to continue for a bit longer.
This guy has SO much money that it is capable of shutting down pretty much almost any other website.

I can definitely understand that it is going to take a long time to solve the problem.
In the meantime, they are actually considering switching ISPs to a stronger one that MAY still be DDoS'd but in a less severe impact.
Remember, the kid is using a botnet service, so tracking him is 99.99% impossible.

They have already implemented a system to mitigate the consequences of dying in a DDoS attack, and it does seem to be working for some.

Keep in mind, this is in no way, shape, or form that this is all CipSoft's fault. The kid is just a sad fucking goon.

Do you remember 2006-07's kicks? They were harder back then. Nowadays it's just blessings, 1 level/death, back then it was blessings+aol (chances to lose loooooots of exp or items while going for them, since there was no Inquisition. Depending on your level, it was 2-3 levels loss even with blessings, and it was 100k for a level 300 and 100k for a level 50. Tibia is easy as fuck and you're crying. Don't wanna die to kicks? Simple: don't log in. People said the end of Tibia was there at 2007, in fact they say it every single update since then, and here we are, six fucking years later.

I have been looking everywhere for who is behind it and there are a lot of different stories. Though it seems like this is the most common one told.
Edit: wtf how did a image get involved in all this crap
