People that suggest Dre Beats in any sort should just get a fucking clue. It's the worst piece of shit there is.
There is a reason every person with some sort of music standard hates them. They are worth max 50 usd. (There is no arguement because they are. They are shit, just like Boss / SkullCandy) You pay for the brand, nothing else.

He says: He understand that audiofiles thinks they are overprice. He also understand that audiofiles thinks they have bad sound quality. But he also goes on and says "They are targeted to average consumers".

So answer me this; Why should an average consumer pay 300 euro for a Shit By Dre when he can get the exact same sound quality for 200ish euro from Sennsheir? Makes no sense. You pay for the brand.

People that suggest beats by dre is people that bought them and went like "woaoaahahhhahh best sound ever." But then, they havent used a pair of Sennsheir, ATH, beyerdynamic at the same price range, becuase after doing so, you wont ever like Shit by dre again.

Also, get over to forums such as http://www.head-fi.org/ and see if anyone else would ever suggest Shit by Dre and what would happend if you did.




Answer me these questions:
Why do you want noise canceling? (Noise canceling headphones often has the worst quality due to the canceling).
What are you going to use them for?
Do you have a soundcard or reciver that you will use them with? (Most headsets that go beyond 100euro (thats not shit by dre or a gaming headset) often needs a soundcard to drive them properly).

I know my shit. Spent 2000 euro on my speakers, 1500euro on my subwoofer and 3000 euro on my reciver.
My headset is 200 euro(ATH-M50). Because I aint got a soundcard for my computer. My moderboards soundcard cant drive them properly and if I hook them up into my reciver I can raise the volume almost 3x higher.

Done alot of reserach, lissened to several headsets. So I would say I know my shit.

I just wanted a good head set to where I wont really/or at all hear my room mates bull shit music/games /movies. He plays music loud on his gay Dre boom box thing then has the TV up as well.. I can barely hear what im trying to play/watch with the head set I have now.

The sound is unreal and I can't hear anything outside of my headphones. That is my opinion. im glad somebody finally said something about the dre's... they are wicked over priced you pay 300 dollar price point for a 100 dollar headphone its worthless..when you work at FS the cost discount is half..and they still have a profit margin on staff discounts so think about it.

Yup. People that own Shit by Dre are people that are clueless about value on headphones and what a pair of 300 usd phones should sound like.

I really feel so sorry about people that thinks shit by dre sounds "good".

I used to think that the sound on nightclubs were good. Until I bought my own pair of speakers, now I think it's shit.
You think it's good because you havent tried anything else. and thats whats sad, people just go for Shit by Dre because they think they are good. But in realitiy there is not a single person thats done abit of research and tried on a few other headphones that decided that Shit By Dre was the best and that they wanted them insted.

Shit by Dre is a fashion item and you pay for that. Not the sound. It's "cool" to walk around with them around you neck because you're such a audiophil.

There is nothing to really argue about. They are overpriced, they are not worth their price. EVERYONE that has some clue about headphones and sound know that and people that buys them get ripped off.
If you however buy them because they look cool, then fine! I have no problem with that.. I can understand that, it's like buying a cap or scarf etc just abit more expensive.
