I don't like this, it's not very blended, try to fade out the multi-colours from the character render, eventually going into your solid black/brown, if that makes any sense to you

I agree to the first one, was just way to lazy to make it smaller at the time.
The second would blend more if i removed the light effects i think, can't remember how it was, long time i did it.
