Chat Channel, new xeno - few questions

Hello, I am begginer scripter and I am going to share my scripts with community, but before it I would like to ask you few questions.

First of all, there is something new from lua side in new version of xenobot? I mean, should I know something new about lua scripting, is something different?

Second question is about chatchannel like here:

How can I do something like this? Can you show me a tutorial or a simple script with it? Also what about commands like /help or /config inside? Maybe it's good idea to use already created script by someone?
