Sure, the paid scripts might be quite a bit more advanced and detailed - but the official Xenobot scripts are very good considering they come for free with the subscription. Whenever you get the money and feel like you want to buy a script - try out the spawn and see if there are any other botters there. That could ruin your day completely Haha, I know, I've been there 8-)

All the scripts I've bought has been worth it though. They are the following:
