I have some screenshots on a cd (yes a cd not a flash drive) from pre-nova. I've been playing since before worlds existed. Premium accounts didnt exist (i started right after the implementation of rook). I remember when edron was made and abdendriel and all that :P Thats why i still play FACC... its the tibia I remember..

i had a tibia account started before 7.6. back when rats looked like giant turds that would attack you in rookgaurd. but i didn't have a computer of my own, so there was no way of playing when i wanted too. untill middle of highschool, job + money = start of free porn and tibia.

Back then Tibia looked awesome. There was just the major f-acc cities and Edron and Darashia, nothing else. I think there was 5-7 servers, no skullsystem, UE at level 40-60 etc etc.
I thought I was a high level when I got level 20, went and PA'd people in Thais, got into fights etc.
Back then this game was extremely fun. Before the wave of PGers started, when everyone was a newb and all the servers were packed to the limits. The citites were flowing and Tibia had THE best gaming-communtity I've ever witnessed.
@HolmaN, I've started in 7.2 also, just like u. And I miss those times! I was level 27 MS with Skull staff and felt like a boss, my nephews provided me with eq/cash but I kept PKing and such and never reached above level 42 or so. Tho I'd love to get back the times when everybody wasn't 200+ and u still had the real rpg feeling, lootbags and such.
ahhh, loot bags~ i only made profit from them. anyone remember running through edron on the way to dragons. clicking view by trees. hopping to see something... funny like empty vials or crap?
I had noobchars at VDL, on ther other side of the swamp, where people threw their lootbag when leaving the spawn. Was a pretty neat place to camp.
Or when I fucked peoples 24h by running into VDL and using Destroy field on the sqm that didn't have floorreset. That caused a few sad faces.
