@Nykor, cool ideas! try adding some inner shadow in the fonts to make it feel like it was carved into your background pic.
Go easy on the outer glow, use it to make some light reflections around the edges... use some different angles so it does cover the entire object.

And thx for bringing in free stuff shame some people cant see good in that.
