I am with Martin, an option to update from the bot would be great, but Autoupdate by default not cool. Take for example update 3.0, it broke several scripts that had to be rewritten in order to work with the new stuff.

There downsides to this.

Some people play on an OT.

Some people like to stick to whatever version works for them and only update if necessary.

So the solution is simple: make it optional, but make it !
