    Exclamation Follow creature

    Hello

I'm not really sure if this is the right section to post this thread but anyways...

I noticed that while cavebotting, when you set in "targeting" "follow target" the player follows the target with mapclicks or arrows, it doesn't activate the "chase opponent" button above your set. Therefore, with low level characters sometimes it wastes a lot of time trying to follow the target (it might depend on the internet too or ms or whatever). My point is, if the bot activates the chase opponent button automatically if you set follow to the creature you're hunting, it would save a lot of time for low level characters. Because I noticed a huge difference when I tried it manually with the chase opponent!

P.S I don't know if it's the same situation with high level characters.

Although, sometimes it follows them without problems, I said it might depend on the internet and ms, but the chase opponent button doesn't!

Set inTargeting to "do nothing" (instead of following) while attacking and activate Chase Opponent in client.

Thanks a lot!! That would really increase my exp/hr intensively!

Edit: It only works if the looter is off, because after killing the monster the player automatically runs toward the other creature without looting so the bot moves the player towards the dead body and then the "chase opponent" button turns off.

Yeah the current follow reature is so shit lol... It's super slow and buggy most of the time - Would love to see a solution for this!

@reecey I cannot see any problems at all with the current follow, it's quite fast for me.
if you are having problems catching up with monsters because of lags you could try leatrix latency fix and see if that helps.
the stuff mentioned by Nakuu works too but not if you bot stuff that drops fields.

Appreciate the reply and suggestion but my internet connection is damn fine enough for tibia and i don't just say that blindly, I've tested my ping to their server - I know all about latency etc

I have no problem hunting with follow attack manually but the bot is so much slower most of the time and i don't know why. My internet is fine and my cpu isn't under any stress as to delay any xenobot functions. Maybe its just one of those random shit things that will only happen to certain people randomly because computers hate us? haha

But seriously, the xenobot follow is bad more times than its not for me and reduces my exp/hr sooooooooo much - Elfbot, bbot and tugbot follow all work fine for me though (elf and tug on ot, bbot on rl)
