Now, why does the system work for some and not for others? Well, the challenge here is that the system must react to something. A reaction can only happen after the trigger happened to which it is supposed to react. Naturally, that means that it will always be a little delayed. What you see is really that those characters that die very quickly unfortunately die in the seconds before the system reacts. This will usually apply to characters that are more vulnerable, be it due to their current situation (for example hunting hard monsters that appear in groups) or due to differences in their vocation (HP, defense capability etc).

It's basically about luck yeah, but since DDoSers figured out how to make us all die now you won't be lucky anymore.
It worked as this when you lose shit: Servers get pinged, you die, Servers recognize ping and saves people
And when you don't lose shit(saved): Servers get pinged, you get DC but are still alive and well, Servers recognize ping and saves people, you die but lose nothing.
So basically the delay between the server picking up the attack and the moment they can send out the "save" shit is to long, and now the pingers only ping so we get huge freezes but not kicks, which means this new system is not triggered. So far spent 1,9kk bless huashua, never learn..
