Back when one of the main leaders of my old guild on Valoria retired, he had like 50kk+ and just had a massive free items in thais depot. And gave each and everyone of the members at least 1kk each and some items.
I also remember this one time back in 2005-2006 when I was major noob had my level 14 pally for like a couple of years (I was always level 14), this dude had given me an arcane staff, boh and some stuff. That was very expensive at the time and I sold the staff for 90k, kept the boh and the other shit. And I bought all the shit I needed to get full citizen and walked around on my level 14 like I owned the world once I got premium hahahahaha.

Hinrik's Life Thread [Dead]
Well.. I have done very much to people in tibia as.. Giving out free items, helping people carry bags and so on ..
The things that I cared most about was the people who was kind enough to go kill the people who killed me. If I died in POI with my char and I send away a help in trade channel I often got a 100-200 that PM'ed back .. Name? and where? xD
When they were done, they say .. He is dead, you get your items your depot soon.
Isn't this thread about acts of kindness other people have done? Not some big "Look at me guys! Aren't I so nice?" thread
I remember back in 2004 (I think sometime in November/December) on Xantera (it was a fairly new world too), I walked to Edron depot as a level 26 knight.
All I was doing was "Do you have any items laying around that I can have?", of course, I tried to make it sound like I'm a reasonable person, not a noob.
I find a girl, probably level 80 if I remember. In the next couple seconds, my love towards the Tibian community was lifted.
She throws over a giant sword. Now, please remember, this was 2004 and giant swords were one of the best obtainable weapons in the game.
This was also back before level requirements were added to items, so seeing a giant sword come over to my side of the depot is the single greatest feeling of joy and powerfulness. I kept spamming her "thank you"s and all that (I still feel bad for doing this), but honestly, I was SOOOO thankful.
So, then I decide to go give it a whirl with my new weapon. Please note, that the sense of fear of losing items was non-existant back then, almost everyone who played then knew they were gonna at least lose their backpack when they die, so we just go on and carry a bunch of rares and cross our fingers. I did just that, carrying a giant sword, all the way to the orc spawn in Edron, I had probably 50/45 skills back then (which was pretty damn decent for a level 26). So, I make my way through the cave kicking and pawning every orc, orc spearmen, orc warrior I saw. What happens in the next minute, gives me the sudden realization that nothing is taken for granted. I truly underestimated my power of wielding such a magnificent weapon like the giant sword. I was instantly obliterated by an orc berserker and lost the giant sword. I immediately ran back to the girl I just saw a few moments earlier, she was gone. I didn't remember her name, I didn't acknowledge her very well. I just now realize I am such an idiot.
From that day forward, I learn a lesson that I must get my own items and never take things for granted.
