How to not waste botting a mage?

So I'm asking for some tips on how to not WASTE a whole lot while botting a mage, is it almost necessary to have a money making knight?

Depends on the level. I've made money for a while, probably since 150 at DLs. 1-8 rats, 8-30 swamp trolls, 30-40 dworcs, 40-50 earth ele, 50-100 dara drags, 100-130 dara dl, 130 -180 zao dl and you should break even throughout those

I think you need a good M lvl to profit as a mage in its early stages.

Mutated humans and water elementals & dark magicians are the low level places where i break even or profit when botting mages, necros and dls works aswell but then u just profit when ur lucky

Who still believes in magic levels, levels affect your hits way more then mlevels. It's not 7.6 anymore ^^

Are you sure? When I use the damage calculator on tibiastat magic level has a far greater influence than level.

Who cares, can't remember which update but since one update knights/paladins hitted like crazy, before that update they had to skill just because their hits sucked so hard, I would never skill an EK/RP anymore, they hit high enough alrdy, even with low skills

No, vice-versa. Mlvl is much more important nowadays.
