    Elite knight using soft boots

What are your thoughts about soft boots on like 100-200 level EK? Are they really that useful/necessary? When do you find them useful?

I have 2 pairs of soft boots on my 110EK and I consider selling them both as they are 600k~ each on my world market and I could upgrade my equipment a little. I can't see any difference botting with or without them as I always profit anyway.

Are there any particular hunting spots/monsters where soft boots are really needed to profit/survive?

Profit increase is not that big with soft boots imo. It's only good because of low cap so if you use soft boots you can just take less potions and stay in cave for longer.

So, to sum up, softs are good for low levels and/or mages because of cap insufficiency to last longer while hunting?
I actually get a little higher exp/h using boh/draken boots lol.

@Debond , I think @Nakku meant that if you use them you can STAY LONGER in cave, not get higher XP/h. I don't think boh or soft boots gives that much difference. Maybe 5k/h extra or so.

I know that, but my point is with boh you can run faster through spawn so a little more exp/h. Depends on where you hunt tho.

I wouldn't rather bother using Softs Boots on EK... if you want to profit then why they hell would you spend ~500k on boots that will give you maybe 10k profit more per day... will take you 2 months to earn that back. It's different story as a mage tho since you are low on cap especially if you loot gold so soft boots can increase your hunting time by a lot. Instead of soft boots you can use Life Rings and it's even better "Money Spent Per Mana" if you can get them for not more than 550gp.

I always use softs on my 100ek. But it is cuz I have noticed I am able to stay in cave longer and use less potions. But I bought them more for my rp on same acc which can be more useful on. So I use them regardless lol. But you don't really need 2 pairs on ek. Sell one pair and upgrade your eq.
