Omg... Guys, some of these tips you are giving him are not so flash. Make sure information you give people gave from a credible source. Not just what you heard.

I think i read one comment where someone said you loose more fat when you do muscle workouts opposed to cardio? Which is totally not true!!!

    Here's some advice from me.

If you want to loose weight start slowly, there's nothing worse than trying too much and failing.

Begin with changing you diet, eat smart.
Carbohydrates and sugar are the cause of most people putting on weight. When you eat excess of these things it tells your body to convert them to fat to store them for later.
It is very important to eat a balanced diet, Eat a portion of carbs, protein a good helping of veges.
The thing about protein is, if it is not used by the body it is not stored. It just goes right through! However don't overdo it with protein either!
When picking carbohydrates choose ones that have a Low GI rating, this means it takes longer for these foods to break down and therefore release energy slower instead of one burst.
Google foods with a low GI.

With this info, Don't cut out carbs and eat all protein. Have a balance, carbs give you much needed energy, just dont eat too much!
I cannot stress enough, eat a balanced diet!!!!!!

When it comes to exercising, set some goals. Do not start with trying to run when you just can't

Begin with walking, it is important that you exercise for long periods. Your body has too burn through its carbohydrate stores in order to burn fat. Once your carb stores are out, your body turns to the best source of energy. FAT! For your body to get to this stage, maintain a workout/walk for 50 mins +.

If 50 mins is too much for you, start with less and build up to it.

    My recommendation:
    Starting from scratch:

    Walk 3 times a week for 30 mins +,
Maintain a good heart rate during this( if your heart rate is too low you won't improve anything).

After about 2-3 weeks, depending on how motivated you are. Extend your walks

Walk 4 times a week for 50 mins + and maybe throw in some hills instead of walking on the flat to get that heart rate up.

As time goes by, increase the intensity or the time of your training, I.e. eventually start too run.

Hope some of this helps, if you have anymore questions please ask, Its great too see people taking action in order to loose weight and become healthier!

P.s. Do some of your own research! Eat a balanced diet, Workout for longer periods and Goodluck!

Well guys I just got back home 7:00 AM, and this weeks off school I will be respecting my diets but I won't be working out everyday, since today I'll just go sleep and then go back with my friends to do whatever.
